This hostel is in my top 2 hostels visited in Europe. It has a lovely chilled out hippy vibe. They have a decent kitchen, not that I used it a lot, breaky was included and dinner was generally 5 euro with a beer included, great food too! If you are wishing to sleep before midnight it is difficult, but the staff are quick at clearing the party goers out. It is strictly no BYO which is annoying but they make the best mojitos in Granada for cheap! Go on the walking tour. Great location.

Really enjoyed my stay at Makuto. A wonderful, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere aimed at both party and relaxation. Right in the thick of the old town, but is a bit tricky to find because of this. A bit cramped overall, but makes up for it with hidden isolated areas for relaxation around the hostel.

This is the chillest hostel ever! if you want to experience Granada you have to stay at Makuto. The staff is all really fun and creates a great atmosphere. The rooms are a little small and there isn't much room for your stuff but whatever, you're backpacking anyways. The garden, hammocks, tree house, and chill out lounge are perfect for cooling off from the heat of the day!

A hostel with a character! Relaxed, cozy and alternative. When you enter the place you are amazed by the several relaxing corners, the tree house and the chill out room. We had an en-suited bathroom and a kitchen that we only were sharing with one more room. Breakfast was provided. It gets clients from a good range of ages. The walking tour with Thomas was very interesting and a very good way to get a quick taste of Sacramonte caves. Matteo in the reception was always helpful & fun!
