Brand new and amazing. You wont get any wifi or tv as Malinbeg is very isolated, but enjoy the fire and views of the ocean. Silver Strand down the road is amazing! Frank is a great host.

Fantastic hostel. Located close to a wonderful beach, very clean with two kitchen and a perfect common room. The owner is helpful and if you come with the bus he come to pick you up at the nearest bus stop. There aren't wi-fi and phone coverage but it's perfect for a relaxing holiday. We will definitely stay again whenever there. Thanks Frank

Instead be a far hostel, those whom don't know well the region like me could make a misunderstood and think that's in Donegal Downtown. But the place is really nice, the view is amazing and Frank, the owner, is a very kind guy. Me and my friends just miss the internet conection, but just it. I recomend it!

Beautiful area - our window looked out to the water and it is very quiet. The room was basic but good - bed, a bit of storage, heater in the room and the bathroom was clean. There are two really good kitchens and a basic store across the road (rec stopping at a big store on your way to pick up supplies). The owner was very kind and helpful with advice, maps etc. A beach is very close however that's about it - nice place to base yourself for a quiet trip or for drives elsewhere

We had a good welcome from the staff and they gave us loads of info about he city and what to do and see. We've also been offered to join for a couple of nights out. We were in one of the appartments. The place was big enough, clean and we had the privacy we needed. Though the place is a little hard to find, we had to ask in a restaurant not to far away.

Very hospitable and friendly owner that made our stay at Malinbeg a pleasure even though it was raining a lot. Hostel is a bit remote: approx 5 miles drive from 'Glen Colm Chille' village in the direction of 'Mailinbeg'.
