Maltepe Pansiyon is close to whatever you might need to do in Marmaris, Mehmet the owner/manager went out of his way to make sure that my stay was comfortable and even gave me a lift to the port when I checked out. Owner ıs extremely helpful... took us to our bus and got us vıp treatment. Rooms are basıc but clean, fat cat ıs hılarıous. Free ınternet and kıtchen facılıtıes. The rooms are basic but cheap and clean. Mehmet is very very accommodating and such a nice person. I would recommend the pension. Marmaris itself however I wouldn't recommend. If you have time I would recommend staying in another location. Others recommended Bodrom to us which is north of Marmaris on the coast. Marmaris itself is very touristy (and bordering on tacky).The rooms are basic but cheap and clean. Mehmet is very very accommodating and such a nice person. I would recommend the pension. This is a very basic Pansiyon but what makes it so special are its hosts - they could not have helped us more if they tried. Do not expect anything fancy - but the room was clean as was the bathroom come wet room. The price is a reflection of the basic accomodation however it is a clean place to stay not very far from the beach and main tourist area. If you will not be spending a lot of time in your room and do not want to pay a lot for accommodation then this could be for you. Mehmet was a very welcoming host! The location was fantastic; close to the beach but away from the noise of the main strip. The garden was a lovely spot to sit and relax.
