The room I stayed in was lovely, but loud - so you should have earplugs with you :-) The family, that runs the guesthouse, is very friendly, and I liked the atmosphere. But the best is the dinner, cooked by the students of the cooking school, in the house. For 18€ you get a delicious meal and a nice chat with very different people, mixed age, from all over the world. I loved this guesthouse also I can't recommend Sorrento... But if you stay there, stay at mami camilla!!! It was about a twenty minute walk from the main piazza in Sorrento, which was incredibly doable. Easy to find, and the staff was friendly. Paying extra for breakfast was well worth it, we ate enough that we didn't really need a big lunch. this was the best hostel i have ever stayed in! Have the dinner and the breakfast! Both completely worth the money! We stayed in a large room, 4 beds, and a nice size shower! Even though we got confirmed booking through hostelworld they lost our booking so we didnt get to stay there. Staff were helpful to find another hostel although it was really annoying. Staff, food (definately try the dinner here) cleanliness all fantastic. Location is a bit out of town but still walkable around a 15 - 20min walk into the centre or 5mins on the bus. Good hostel/hotel with lovely room. Nice gardens to sit out in. Location fine, about 25 min walk to centre of Sorrento, but very near coast still with gorgeous views just 5 mins away.Would recommend but prefered the place we stayed at in Sorrento centre (Palazzo Abagnale).Good hostel/hotel with lovely room.
