Mama's Hostel Main Market Square Reviews

Of the 30 cities I have travelled in Europe & the hostels I've stayed in, this was the best I have encountered. What I liked: the staff are really friendly and chirpy (with good recommendations), rooms and toilets are clean, furniture are new, there are lockers in the room (for no additional charge), kitchen area and living room area are chic and nice, computers available, printing service available, wifi accessible from the rooms, also good location, & daily "events" to get to know people.

I loved Mama's! The only complaint I have is that there were only two outlets in the 6 person room I was in - so trying to charge everyone's phones/iPods/Kindles was a bit of a challenge. Other than that - everything was amazing and pasta night was delicious!

Nice hostel. One of the best I have ever been, but in my opinion there are some things that need to fixing in the bath. I had some problem with some people disturbing in middle of the night, but this is not fault of hostel, in fact the hostel try to keep silence between sleep time. In brief, really good hostel, with the best location in Krakow.

The hostel was awesome! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the hostel was very homey. Definitely a party atmosphere, so if you want sleep this is not the hostel for you! The location was FABULOUS and right around the corner from the Main Market Square! A great location at a great price.

Exellent place to stay in Krakow. We spent there only one night, but surely it would be pleasant to stay for a longer vacation. The dinning room is lovely:) Very friendly stuff (special thanks to a nice blond girl on reception:), warm athmosphere, perfect location! Marija - Hungary

It was nice! Only thing that i didnt like was that the hostel is located right in the centre of tourist action. But apart from that I was very happy there.

I've no words to describe this fantastic hostel and the staff there! Jo, Carolina, Asia, Maciej, Oskar, Magda, Ola, Dawid, Kamila, Ricardo(the best entertainer ever), and the others! they are awesome and will make your stay be better than you can imagine, just like they did to me! The atmosphere of the hostel is perfect, they have free entrances for many night clubs, vodka tasting and many other things that you should check for yourself! i really recommend Mama's Hostel!

Oh Mamas! I love this place - the staff are all so wonderful I was trying to find ways to fit them in my suitcase so I could take them home - seriously the best people, so friendly and knowledgeable and fun! Always smiling : ) I was only supposed to stay here (and in Krakow) for 2 or 3 days and ended up staying closer to a week! I kept saying, well I guess I'll just book one more night..... I can't wait to get back there - if you're looking for a great atmosphere with great people Mama's is it!

It's really one of the best hostels in Krakow, so close to the market place and main square! I've met funny backpackers, staff really cozy in Mama's hostel, and every day there's a party in hostel which accompanies you through night events around the main square!

I had a terrific stay at Mama's Market Square! It is very quaint and cozy. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is super! The hostel is kept very clean. Krakow is so beautiful!!!

Because there are nice people in mama's hostel and they have speacial hours everyday eat,drink ext. I love Mama's Hostel

My experience at Mama's was great: the staff was helpful and always cheerful and most importantly, pushed me to meet others at the hostel through a variety of evening events. If I had to complain, though, I would just say that some of the doors to the multi-bed dorm rooms are super squeaky and entering or leaving the room inevitably wakes many people up. I think an oiling job would do them some good.

This was my second time staying in the hostel and yet again, did not disappoint. Thank you to all the mama's staff that made our stay so fantastic. Would wholeheartedly recommend. I would never stay anywhere else in krakow

It's a guesthouse for people who want to have parties every nights. It's noisy, the rooms are next to the common room so you hear people chatting very well. If you want to get up early in the morning for visits and is the kind of person that can't sleep in a noisy atmosphere, I wouldn't recommand this gueshouse. If you don't mind the noise or come to have parties every night, then just go, because it's a very confortable place where you can feel at home.

Whoa! Hostel Staff is superb! They can help you in soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many ways. And everything is really great, big TV, nice breakfasts. and unlimited FREE COFFEE! love it!

The staff were extremely friendly and immediately made you feel at ease, as if you were at a second home. The hostel had a great amount of character and liveliness, perfect for youths. Stayed there for the film night, where everybody sat around on settees in the lounge. 24/7 staff who were aware of which guests were staying, so you felt secure leaving your things even lying around - even though there were lockers. Free use of internet too which was handy. Would definitely recommend to friends!
