Average Hostel in Panama City, but you get what you pay for. If you are on a tight budget thats the place to stay. The only thing what is not so nice is that you hear party music all night and that the washing mashines are usually taken (at least they have some). If you want to meet fun people, please stay here.

Great spot to stay for a couple days in the City for a younger crowd. Although they should sell Abuelo in addition to the convinent dollar beers at reception. We had a great experience.

Mamallena is a great place to stay and they also book boat trips to colombia with out taking a fee. The hostel is located in between the turist areas and also its a very easy to get to panama kanal from here. There kitchen is very well equipped and staff is very helpful! Stay here

What really surprised me was the fact, that it was absolutely quiet at night in a 12-person-dorm. Amazing!

Hostel was much less than I expected. Says air conditioner works from 9PM-9AM, but even then it barely runs & continuously turns off at night. Facilities are in a poor condition. Worst of all, the staff is very rude and very disorganized. They do not communicate with each other & are extremely disrespectful. When problems arose planning a San Blas trip owner repeatedly lied. We ran into several backpackers who had similar horror stories at the hostel & whose trip plans the hostel arranged wrong.

Amazing hostel, awesome staff. We were there over New Years and they organized a litle party- so much fun! There's a lot of space there with hammocks and couches. I'd recommend it!

Overall it was a good hostel with comfy mattresses and air conditioned rooms.

Strong wifi, comfortable beds, large communal areas (two outdoor and two indoor), good kitchen with a "free shelf" of food for sharing and to reduce waste, coin laundry worked well. The location was sort of in between downtown and Viejo and was quite far from the grocery store, so that was a bit unfortunate.

Very nice place, big private rooms and nice free coffee!
