It was hard to find from the Underground and the reception was unattended. The hostel looked like someones home so if you don't mind that everything is everywhere and it will be cleanded only once a day it will be fine. The nice part was that you had a good breakfast with toast, butter, jam, eggs, coffee(no tea) and Juice. I was allowed to wash my cloth for free and to use all things in the bathroom. They provided us with free towels as well. My room was to small for all the luggage from 6 p.

Nice hostel. but: The doors of the rooms are useless. To thin and it was to loudly!!! Mens bathroom was not nice.

Im sure its a nice hostel, but i thought it was awful. I arrived after 3 weeks staying at hostels, so i wanted a private room. Really small, but that would have been okay if there had at least been a window to the outside. There wasnt. So i checked out the day after. Nice staff who helped me get back some of the money i had payed.

Disappointed. The first room was small and super enlighted: no way to sleep after 6 am. The wall is very thin and the hostel is really noisy because of the staff always walking and talking in the main room. The second room had the same noise problem (even worst) but no window that time. The Bathroom was ok, but it do not recommand this hostel.

There were only 2 bathrooms and showers for the entire hostel. Also, the bathrooms and showers were in the same room which made it even more difficult to use in the morning. The rooms were ok. But the walls are so thin, you can hear everything people are saying in the next room even if they were talking quietly.

My stay at Mamas & Papas was simply amazing. Its not only about the excellent location of the hostel or the free breakfast, but also about the staff, Phillips and Nissa are so friendship and warm that they really make you feel at home. Any kind of problem you have, they will help you; if you have any kind of question about taking a bus, getting a place or whatever, they will be there for you. I have nothing to complain, only to say that Im expecting to come back to Seoul to Mamas & Papas ;)

Very kind and helpful staff and it is located in a very nice and lively area.

I stayed 11 nights and it was a great experience at Mamas & Papas! The hosts Phillips and Nissa were extremely friendly, offering us recommendations on where to go and occasionally taking us out. Nissa is always helpful and ready for a chat! The hostel was small but it created a nice atmosphere especially when we sit down for breakfast or hang out in the common area at night. Clean, safe and warm guesthouse! Almost feels like home each time I return at night. Will definitely come back again! :)

My stay in Seoul was really comfortable. Especially Nissa is such a nice person. She always helped us when we had a problem or just wanted something to know. At night it can be a little bit loud cause the living room is just in the center of the guest house. Breakfast was ok. You can eat as much toast, jam and eggs as you want. Also coffee and orange juice is included. (But it is instant coffee of course).

+ location is very good - only one hair dryer, which dissapears from time to time, because some people use it in their rooms and don't bring it back - towels are really small (better to have your own one)
