One of us was bitten by bedbugs and, alghough we payed for an ensuite 5 people bedroom, we stayed in a 10 people bedroom with two toillets.
A really great place for backpackers. It is a little far from station but really closed to beach. just 5 minutes walk, then you can get a nice view of Sorrento. The staff is nice :D One thing is a little bit pity is the wifi works only in lobby. but it doesn't matter to me when I see the sea view.
Lack of toilet mat will transform the toilet into a horrible, dirty place after it was used by 1-2 person. I strongly suggest the hostel to take necessary steps to alleviate such problem.
Very cosy hostel at a good location. The staff was friendly and the buffet breakfast was awesome! Very quiet in the evening, so not a party hostel.
Mami Camilla was a fantastic hostel!! We were only able to stay at the hostel for a few nights, but wish we could've stayed longer! The staff were extremely lovely and helpful and upgraded us to a room of our own without any extra cost on our arrival. The rooms were lovely, very homey, like a B&B. The only troubles we had were that our toilet did not flush, we notified staff but I am unsure if they understood us and hence was not fixed for our stay and we couldn't find anyone to help after 11pm.
lovely hostel with good beds, nice courtyard, free internet, and a great breakfast option for 5Euro. the cooking school is a great value and we totally recommend it for a nice italian meal on a budget price. just a 10min walk from middle of sorrento, which makes it much cheaper than hostels in the city. great staff and a good atmosphere.
We had really nicely decorated and clean room with a great view:) 20minutes walk from town center - There was a tasty breakfast for extra 5€ available:)
If you want to stay in a quite exellent Sant Angelos place between old villas and luxery hotels, this is your place to stay! Great garden, very good breakfast. Th was Stuff friendly. Only the connections with buses into Sorrento and back difficult. The walking distance too long in the heat of the day 5 km? The beaches nearby are private and you have to pay. Sorrento is realy no beachplace. Rocks, sea not clea,r dirty water. If you come from Amalfi beaches like me you would not go voor a swim!
It was a bit far from Sorrento Town, but you could perfectly walk. Air conditioning. No wifi in the rooms.
staff is very nice. But I can`t cook. It`s bad....
The property was beautiful, with a nice garden area with tables, and a very comfortable indoors. Everything was clean, and towels were provided for free! Location wasn't perfect, but was still very good - an easy walk from both train stations in Sorrento and more quiet/secluded from the downtown area which gave a nice sense of peace. The only downside was when we asked for suggestions for a cheap dinner and got directed to one of their affiliations - would have appreciated a more honest answer!
We had a great experience here. My friend and I were lucky to get a dorm room all to ourselves. It was very clean and comfortable. They have their own cooking school, so we got set up with a four-course meal for only 18 euros! They provided the transportation too. They also organize other tours. It's not in the center of Sorrento, but the walk isn't all that bad. Overall, we were very happy.
