I think a thicker blanket is necessary in deep winter, although there is heating. Other things are good.

For an older man who loves privacy and comfort, Mami Camilla was a good place to stay for one night. I have never stayed at a hostel and since it was with friends, it was acceptable. I don't know how it would have been with twelve strangers. the location was pleasant to be at and very clean. i did not have the breakfast because I was in hurry to leave.

I have stayed at quite a few hostels. Mami corsi isn't the fanciest, but it was a great place to hang out and the staff were nice and helpful. The place had lots of character. I opted to but the dinner that the students at the cooking school make. The 18 euro was comParable to other 4 course meals and it was a nice way to meet other travellers. I did the Capri tour that they promote and it was a good way to see the island too. The breAkfast was great and big for 5 euros. All in all it was great.

I would recommend this hostel to anyone! Excellent service, excellent people, and excellent food! The next time that I stay in Sorrento, I will absolutely look here first.

It was a good experience here at Mami Camilla, but it was a bit pricey for their dinner and breakfast. Not to say they weren't good, we had a 4 course meal for 18 euros and a good breakfast for 5 euros. There are no lockers at Mami Camilla's and bunks are very small. I am 5'6" and i could fit in the bed, if you were 5'10" you would be a bit uncomfortable.

very friendly and nice staff, good location however not in Sorrento itself but 15 minutes walk to the centre of Sorrento (we preferred to stay tin this quieter, nicer, small town) , close to the beach, rooms in good condition, and fantastic breakfast!!! , they organise cooking lessons, but we didn't have time to attend they- maybe next time :). Recommend to everyone who wants to stay in Sorrento.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Mami Camilla! The only slight concern we had was that there was no lock whatsoever on the door to our room. That made me nervous, but other than that we really enjoyed our time there. The staff was nice, and we did the day trip to Capri offered by them, and that was absolutely incredible! You're not staying right in Sorrento, but rather in a neighborhood called Sant'Agnello that is a little bit quieter but still not a far walk from downtown Sorrento at all!

There is no locker but the area is very safe. Staffs are very nice, offer very good value 4courses dinner with high quality food which is a bonus. Shower room can be cleaner but you got what you pay for, it's good value overall. It would be perfect to have a kitchen but it's seems it's a norm not having kitchen in hostel within tat area

Hostel isn't quite in Sorreto, it is about 10 minutes away. This didn't bother us though asbi was a quick walk to the main town. It is unique as it has a cooking school so you have the option of having dinner for 18 euro at the hostel any night you want. Also it is 5 euro fr breakfast which is good. Staff was helpful in pointing you in the right direction whether you want to take an organized tour or visit Capri etc on your own. We had a great stay!

We enjoyed the 4 course meal and the capri trip. We preferred this part of town instead of Sorrento. However we were in the dorm room with the live in cooking interns and lots of things were broken like lockers, bathroom door, aircon made a big noise and the shower was scummy.
