They have wifi, but it didn't reach my room - I had to go out in the hallway to access it. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the area is tough to beat. I'll probably stay here again.

Very small room: a bed and a small passage along it. Windows with vents and very cold (not for winter travel). Not the most clean sheets and towels. Toilet combined with shower, that is, nothing like a shower stall no. Hot water never came. But there is one big plus - the location! Although the hostel is found not so easy.

The location of the hostel is ok and very accessible to all tourist spot in Hong Kong. The room that i rented is a three bed deluxe and for me the value for money is somehow ok. The only problem that I encountered is the RUDE LADY whom I was told was the Owner's wife, she doesnt have any manners nor know how to interact with customers who pays to rent their hostel and she was too proud of not being nice. The owner Mr. Steve is nice and the other lady receptionist with eye glasses..

Excellent wifi. Good location but you need to know your way within the building. Room has all the basics but might be too small for most. A very good alternative if you just need a room to put your baggage and to sleep.

I will return, Steven and Ms. Wong are great persons, very friendly. the hostel is surronded by bad people so dont trust anyone on the sidewalk. The hostel is located on the 14th floor on mirador mansion. The hostel is great, it offer a palce to sleep in corwded Hong Kong. I had a private room witha provate bathroom and a window, its a bit noisy but i had ear plugs, and what can you expect in HK. The room was clean, the bed was hard but the owners are verry accomodating to give you a mattre

The location of the hotel is very good, but the price of the single room ensuite is high considering that it's just a bed, I could not enter with my bag! I think 1meter x2! Also the receptionist it's not the most funny person I met in life, but in her way was kind when I asked an information.

We booked a ensuite double-bed room and on arrival they offered us a camping cot supported by four dining room chairs with mattress on top in a construction zone for 35€ original price would have been 40€. We didnt take the room and spend 5 hours looking for a bed to stay in hong kong. my advise is to go to chungking mansion. hostelworld was not helpful with getting our money back from the booking and we did not get the 50$ credit as promised on the website. I would not book this hostel

The room and bathroom were so small, I had to move sideways. Electrical wires running all over and mulitiple plugs in outlets. Sewer pipe running along wall. Inadequate bedding. Abrupt staff. Disgusting building. lGreat location, close to terrific shops, food, and transportation. Some rooms had been remodeled and looked quite nice, but mine was kinda gross.

They are very accommodating. The owner will explain all regarding the room. The room is like you stay in 3 star hotel. The bed is big.

A friend and I booked this place, since all other hotels in HK were fully booked for some reason. We booked a delux DOUBLEroom, paid a bomb for it and the lady at the reception gave us a SINGLE bed and told us its a HK double bed (whatever that is!).The room was really dingy and there was no space for our bags. Its NOTHING LIKE WHAT"S SHOWN IN THE PICTURES!I refused to stay here and walked out the minute I saw the room.DON'T go here even if you REALLY need to and have absolutely no where else to go.

My biggest problem with this hotel was that, even with the reservation print out, the staff was trying to 1. tell me we didn't have a reservation, and 2. charge us more than what our reservation indicated. I had to get upset and pretend that my wife was pregnant just so we could get into our room.

You should stay there only in case you have nowhere else to go, and you're very short on the cash. The place can be described as "exotic" with all the bad meanings of the word. Imagine having a cooking corner behind the reception. and the "business corner" they mention in the description is just a 20 year-old PC with Chinese interface. The rooms are tiny and very basic, and you should make sure you ask them change the sheets before you go to sleep. Don't pay for more than 1 night, you won't stay

I only needed a place to sleep. The place is very conveniently located and easy to find.- restaurants, mtr, ferry, all were a stones throw away. I stayed in a basic single room with a tiny bathroom which was the smallest room I have ever slept in!!! It had air conditioning, a television and free internet access. The room was cleaned every day. Most of the lauggage is kept on the alleyway outside the room. The manager and his staff are very friendly and helpful. I can recommend it.

Turned up, they weren't expecting us. Showed us to the room and it was awful. A tiny box room with an even smaller ensuite with the shower head hanging over the toilet. Whole place felt dirty and unsafe. Couldn't stay there, had to pay for the first night (which was very overpriced) and managed to cancel the second night.

we didn't actually stay in Mah Hing Lung as it was over booked that weekend, but two floors down. The double bed we had booked was two singles pushed together. No window in the bedroom . Bed was comfortable enough. Shower was fine. We liked the location as it was close to the ferry port and was easy to get to other places.
