Be alerted!!! Avoid this one at all cost! To start with, I moved in the hostel and was asked to pay a higher price than I booked, the old man(owner) said he changes the price all the time so whatever booking price is subject to change, WTF? The second day around 4am a scary man was there in the hostel nocking all the doors asking for weed. the third day my friend got back to his room and found his bag was searched and he lost his phone and some cash! Stay away unless you want nitemare!

If you need a place to take a bath and sleep, it's a good place! The surroundings look like gothan city, but it's very easy to move to other places in the city!

Great place to stay & it's cheap. Nice kitchen (PLEASE wash your dishes after cooking when you stay in hostels, your mom isn't here to clean up after you!). The owner adds 1.50€ "tourist tax" per night, I don't know why he doesn't list his correct prices on the site here but it's still very good value, very cheap, just make sure you're aware of it. This hostel isn't like the big-name Aussie-run places but it gives it some character. It's quite "old skool" but it's comfortable & great location.

Mandarin it's maybe the BEST hostel to stay if you are with a group. It's in a dark and empty area, but if you are not alone that's no problem. It has a great atmosphere, because the common area is big, good couches, so everybody just talk and talk together. At this point would be good to be there if you are alone. Because you get to know a lot of people! The dorm is very tiny, but it's good that you have a free big lock for you. You have to pay 1euro for the towel. Wi-fi everywhere. NICE HOSTEL

The place is run by only one guy and he is kind of crazy. He always get confused. The place can be cleaned more often and not all the showers works. But they are flexible and people who come there are really nice.

When we saw hostel from outside, we thought it will be disaster but when we saw kitchen and living room,we were very glad cause it looks so nice,it is huge place where we met our new friends which were all young and we were all together having fun during nights,go out, etc. rooms are well, we had key,and didn't have to pay 2Euros for late checking. stuff is so nice, they know places to visit for young people, know clubs even they are older. bathroom is not so good, but it was enough for our needs.

The man that works there is really nice, kind and worried about the guests. One problem was the bathroom because there was a toilet in the shower room , but there was no door to separete this. The internet is good. The atmosphere in the living room and the kitchen is nice. It is really cheap comparing to others hostels in Europe and it is pretty good.

the quality matches the price... It is very cheap. Reception staff is very kind and helpful. I do not like the room...especially the toilet and bathroom which are reeeaaaally unreasonable...

Horrible experience. When checking in, the elderly gentleman at the reception told me that "I hope you know that you will have to pay more than you expected". Just like that, right away. Well, I certainly did. Instead of EUR 2,69 that was indicated on my booking as the amount due upon my arrival, I ended up paying EUR 6,91. When I asked the gentleman why, he told me that "by now, you should know that a hostel is like a budget airline, there's always hidden costs and surcharges". Never again.

a funny place. nevermind a clean and efficient hotel, but nothing missing. The kitchen, the common room, the computers, the showers, the bathrooms. It's a little challenge to stay there but it's cheap, well located, and there's a family atmosphere. very warmly heated. pay attention, 1,5 euro tax charge for each day..

The hostel can be nice, but the old manager and other guy who works there make atmosphere sh..y. Most annoying thing is that nobody answer the doorbell and you need either to call a mobile No. given there or to wait 1h in front of the door. The bed are very dirty and there is a lot of dust in the room, and the bathrooms are dirty too. Expect to pay additional 1.50 EUR per night, because the manager is cheaty and charge this amount plus. Stay there only if you need and overnight.

Peut-etre normal car prix tres tres BON!

The review below mine is unfair. You can't blame the hostel for the behaviour of idiots, which you can get in any hostel. PS: Someone asking for weed isn't scary, they just want to chill out. If you're dumb enough to not put your valuables in the locker then you deserve to be robbed. You must be a true hostel novice. This hostel however is great. Nice big kitchen, great location, SUPERB value for money. Its not perfect, but for 5-7 euros per night, you can't expect a 5* hotel. Safe for females.

Do not stay here! It is one of the dustiest, dirtiest hostel i've stayed in on my whole 5 month trip! The mattresses were old and torn the pillows were stained and the bed linen stunk! There was so much dust on the floor i couldn't breath and there was not even a door on the girls toilet! The kitchen was ok but the fridge was hot. There was also no atmosphere so not good to just sit and mingle with other travellers. Do yourself a favour and stay at one of the awesome party hostels!
