Nice place. It is clean, safety and at low price. There is not luxury but if you are trying to reduce cost, this is the best option.

The man that works on the reception is really nice. The common areas are really cool, you can chill out with friends. The rooms are good as well! It was really nice staying there! :)

Lovely place that feels very homey. Not wild but still fun and filled with friendly people. Close to a metro stop and easy to get to. Very clean and comfortable in the bathroom and dorm, and I like that there is a computer and kitchen for use.

Really liked this hostel, could use a little more attention to cleanliness but overall decent. The owner was really nice and helpful, location, about 5 stops from the main streets by tram which I nearby. Take the minibus from the airport short ride but if arriving by night let them know you are arriving late otherwise you will be outside waiting for a while.

We've stayed in Budapest before but this was by far our favourite hostel, loved the courtyard and communal areas! Will definitely return!

It's a very cheap hostel in case you're looking for saving money. The common area is very nicely decorated with a mini football and ping pong table and a computer. Regrettably there were some issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom, not much privacy and also no place to put your clothes. The neighbourhood didn't look good, although I didn't have any problem regarding security.

Stayed there for just one night but everything was great, the only small problem is that the hostel is almost in now ways visible from the street, there's just a really small sign saying "hostel" on the doorbell so it's kind of difficult to locate. Everything else was just great and the price is really cheap. :)

This was by far one of the best hostels we stayed at whilst around Europe! There is a great communal feeling to the hostel, due to the large kitchen facilities, a living room with a TV/computer, and the outside courtyard to the hostel where you can chill out in the evenings and meet other travellers. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable, bathroom facilities were great, and for the low price this hostel can not be beaten! Quite a walk to the main attractions/metro stations though - only complaint!

The best hostel I've stayed in. The atmosphere was amazing, everyone were friendly, the staff was very kind and helpful, and they had everything from lockers to kitchen to table tennis. I strongly recommend it!

The person working at the reception takes a while to let you in, in case you arrive between 10pm and 8am.

It's great value of money, nice atmosphere and friendly staffs, just couldn't find the main door when I arrived in the night because was not any signs or name stating the Hostel's name on the gate house or on the street.

Fantastic place to stay with a great kitchen. Lovely private rooms however no lockers. Also the hostel is a little difficult to find. But great value for money and the staff are very friendly!

It would be hard to complain about the Mandarin Hostel. So instead I'm going to outline the features included for the hilariously low price. This is bar none the best hostel kitchen I have used. The key is easy to use and the lockers are nice The courtyard is well kept, and the flowers are beautiful They went out and got a second router after I told them that they should consider improving their wifi (excellent service)

It was a bit hard to find, but managed to get there anyway. Lot's of cheap pubs & 24h shop nearby. Reception guy's english could be better, but we managed to communicate so that wasen't issue. Basicly it was what we expected, bed to sleep and showers to wash ourselves.
