I really felt like at home there. Arnold, Patrick and Steve which work there just great! I think them and the atmosphere that the hostel gives are the best. I lived for 2 months in Budapest in hostels and I can say that this is one of my favorites. The location is good and the facilities are in order. I'm sure I'll go back!

Out of the 5 days we stayed there, only 2 days there was warm water in the shower. Furthermore, the beddings smelled a bit funky. In the kitchen, there were 5 electric hot plates for cooking, of which only 1 was working. Also there was a weird schyzophrenic English guy who gave the impression that he worked there (although I'm definately sure that this really is the case) who was constantly holding fascist monologues. All in all, these things made our stay not the most convenient, but the place was quite c

This hostel cheated me! The staff is extremely poor qualified! I reserved the room in 24th,Dec,and I missed my flight and has to cancel. I began to send them email since20th,Dec. No reply! Then I have to call then. A man recieved and we began to talk without any connection problem, but when I said cancelation, the man began very impatient and said he cannot understand. (At first he speaks english himself),Then I call them constantly, No reply. At last,They charged me by not letting me cancel it.

The hostel have nothing in special but the atmosphere is amazing. Also the place is very clean, the reception guy is a little serious but helpful. On the bathroom the showers have no doors, just a plastic, but I do not found problem. Very near the hostel have a shopping centre with everything... and a train station as well. People can use the kitchen if want. I recommend this place if you looking for a cheaper and kind place to stay in Budapest.

Good location though not close to city center. Directions were neatly explained. On reaching there we had to wait outside for 20 mins since nobody opened the door. Had to make international call to hostel and then after 5 mins they open the door. City tax is not included in rates, another let down. Dirty linens and pillow covers. There was a pathetic smell in entire hostel. Washrooms were dirty. They don't provide toilet papers. They don't provide city map.

Great price. The staff doesn't speak good english. The common area is really good, and the location is ok for it's price.

I stayed there for one night. It was nice. All the facilities were working and staff were friendly. However some problems that I see were there wasn't toilet paper and additional fees make your stay a bit expensive. Location is good, close to the metro and tram station.

For the money I've paid it was very good. The oldman at the reception was very kind and also very helpful. As a negative side I think they should provide that the toillets always have toilet paper and moreover they could improve the pillows. In other hand, the common room is awesome, the couches next to the kitchen and the large room contributes so much to the interaction of the guests, something I find very important in a hostel. I'd recommend to my friends for sure.

Beds were the down part of a sofa. All lights off, always in the hostel and no hair-dryer to rent. The guy doesn't speak english very well and he "get confused" with the money we had to pay. He confused 22 euros with 52 and he get angry when we told him it was not the price we had on reservation.

Good value for the price. They provided lockers and the staff was easy going and accomodating. The kitchen was messy and the fridge was gross from others staying in the hostel... Our room was not cleaned before our arrival and the bathrooms did not have toilet paper. Hot showers and fully equipped kitchen though, nice common room to hang out in but terrible computers. You get what you pay for with this hostel.

AWFUL HOSTEL. I certainly do not recommend it. It is far away from the center, and it smelled. I asked for a towel and they charged me 2€ for it, and it SMELLED terribly, it was disgusting. The showers made all the bathroom floor get wet. And the staff was suppossed to be there 24/7 but I only found them for my check in and check out.
