Thanks Guys! I really enjoyed my stay! The only constructive criticism I offer would be to somehow minimize the curfews/closing hours... I would definitely recommend Manena to friends of mine traveling through Genova.

Fantastic hostel, perfect location, fab facilities, fully equipped kitchen, helpful staff, just ask, comfy beds, so nice to finally have a duvet, clean, warm showers, lovely homely/family feel, amazing finally having a sofa to sit on. I recommend this and wish all my hostels were like it!

I thought Manena Hostel is quite difficult to find from the directions (but that could just be me!). It's about a 15 min. walk from the train station. Once inside there are large secure lockers to store your belongings. The bunk beds are very comfortable. The showers are clean. The breakfast is delicious!! Fresh focaccia bread, cereal, bread roll, tea and coffee. The staff are lovely. Especially Manuel! He is very patient when teaching Italian! I would highly recommend staying at Manena Hostel.

Horrible area of town - they say it's a small walk but it seemed to take forever

The one door on the bathroom broke and the staff started fixing it immediately. Staff was very helpful and eager to please and tried very hard with a language barrier with success. Comfy rooms and beds, secure beds with good steps. Great kitchen. Great location, right off of the main street, Strata Nuova with all the Unesco world heritage site palaces. No locks on the bedroom doors but good, big lockers. Were accommodating with special requests.

The hostel was nice. I stayed in a 12 mixed bed dorm for 2 nights. It wasn't bad located and quite easy to get from the train station. Despite breakfast was not included, it was worth to pay the €4 for it...it included the typical Italian products...good to start the day! Wifi worked ok and you have access to the kitchen if you want to prepare something for dinner.

This hostel was exellent choice for travellers who don't wish to pay alots for hotel and want to get to know new people. The staff was really friendly and helpful, hostel had good wifi connection and good space in kitchen. The location was exellent to go pretty much anywhere in Genova or from Genova. I highly recommend!

This is a very nice Hostel located right in the centre of Genova. There is a kitchen and common room. The breakfast was not included but is totally worth the 4€ extra. Rooms and Bathrooms are clean.

Good hostel and a really good location, just a few minutes walk to the most important things. The staff helped me very well with all kinds of non touristic things I should also see and how I could walk, it was very helpfull. Unfortunately there were not that many people traveling like me to meet there, but that can be the time of the year.
