dont listen to the other reviews, this place is great. It's not even a 6 minute walk from town, but it's a nice walk to get away from the touristy stuff. I'm a business traveler and the free wifi was a huge perk. The staff even met us at the ferry to take our luggage and show us the way to the Resort. They even carried my heavy bag up the steps into the room. I would stay here again.

A lot of steps to climb but very nice view from the top. Far enough from the party beach (don't hear the noice) but close. Enough to walk to the village.

The first room we got was a room directly to a pool with wasted water which was not on the picture when we ordered the room. After a big dicussion we got an other room. But anyway this is not a good start of a vaccation. We paid a lot of money for a very poor service. No help for luggage. You have to climb 150 stairs up and down without help. We absolutely cannot recommend this place

The location is OK, far enough from the noise of the beach clubs. There's a lot of rubbish and a slightly smelly waste water bassin nextdoor; the views are iceth and the staff is helpfull, though not very n

Great place. Amazing character. It's a treehouse style of cabin. Imagine many treehouses in one giant banana tree. I will definitely go back again and again. Very surreal and trippy. You get the essence of Ko Phi Phi jungle island lifestyle. Bring lots of mosquito repellent for the nighttime. Be prepared to climb lots of stairs. The scenery is worth it.

The location of the hostel is not great. Phi Phi island is pretty small, with most hostels/restaurants/bars concentrated in the same area. Maney resort, however, is situated 10 minutes away, and includes a steep uphill before you can reach it. However, the hostel atmosphere and bungalows where the rooms are situated are very warm. They are right in the middle of Phi Phi's nature, and both me and my friend really liked them. Also, internet in our room, which did not always happen in Thailand.

A guy from the hotel met us at the pier and threatened to cancel our booking if we didn't go with him. We wanted to eat first and we were starving, and we had an appointment at a restaurant. When I got a hold of my friend and returned, he was gone. We had to sleep in a single bed even if we had pay for the booking in advance and had ordered twin beds. Their bed was to small for to men and they didn't even support us with extra blankets the first night so we got sick.

It doesn't look quite like the pictures when you get there (nothing ever does) but it is a nice place. It does take up to 15 minutes to walk down to the town but the location was pretty and peaceful. The ride up to the hostel, upon collection from the pier (look for a guy with a sign), was pretty unexpected. If you want somewhere away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far then I would recommend this place.

Maney resort was a decent place though quite a hike from the town (not far, but uphill/many stairs). The bungalow was perched high on the hill and had a lovely view. The staff were efficient but not overly helpful or accommodating. The wifi was good (in room) and at no cost. The room was very clean and had a small television.

I couldn't find another hostel available on the island for 12/24 and 12/25. It was okay, but if I could have, I would have stayed somewhere else. If there are other places available, I would suggest elsewhere! They aren't kidding about the steps, but they also fail to mention the hike up hill just to get to the hostel steps. Irritating when you transition from beach to regular clothes etc. It is 15 minutes at least from the beach. The view is terrible too, dont let the picture fool you!

The staff was really rude and the room are very expensive in comparison to the hostels in town. this kind of room you can find for 900baht without any problem in town. Breakfast was tiny and th location very inconvenient. NOT RECOMENDED AT ALL.
