It was a good hostel with very friendly staff. They helped me very well. The only thing is that there were no locks on the showers.

The staff there are very friendly and helpful. The place is located near the business district. It is in Lapa area where a lot of bars & restaurants are becoming vibrant on Thursday through the weekend. The beds are pretty clean, but they need to figure out how to reduce the number of mosquitos there.

Bathroom doors need better locking: doors do not close at all.

Good option to spend a couple of days (as it's in Rio, far from beaches !!). Lapa is the essence of Bohemian spirit of Rio and this Hostel is located in the heart of that. Close to downtown attractions as well. Bathroom could smell better... Nice old house retrofit, good design. What I like more were the girls at the reception. They were kind (besides beautiful). I'd stay there again.

Overall nice hostal but I wouldn't book a double room there again because they are in a very humid and dark basement without proper ways to ventilate.

We were 4 friends heading in Rio for carnival, the location is just excellent close to Lapa arcs inside the carnival so the party and fun is a guarantee, besides the hostel has a very interesting design with a lot of space, light and color, very welcoming and helpful staff, nice breakfast, very clean rooms, AC worked as we expected for the summer weather in rio, I definitelly recommend this hostel.

This hostel is located in an amazing position in Lapa close to bars and restaurants. The staff go out of their way to help you. Our double room was very very small, but clean, with air conditioning and a private bathroom. The breakfast is very simple and runs out quickly, however we were there during Carnival so the hostel was very busy. Definitely recommend this place.

In general everything was good, the rooms seamed clean and safe, and the reception was confortable and had a great atmosphere. Everything is new so it is in good conditions. Lapa is a fun neighborhood to stay at. The only problem was that the room was too crowded, there were too many beds in too little space, there was no place to walk because of the huge lockers. I think that for that reason, the hostel should charge a little bit less. Beside from that, everything was great.

Brand new hostel, in a great location in Lapa - round the corner from the street party, close to lots of bars and restaurants and on the same road as the street market. Breakfast was good quality and all of the staff helpful. Rooms had decent sized lockers and had aircon. The hostel kitten was really cute and we miss him already...
