As others have said, all they need is some air con in the rooms and this would be the best hostel I've stayed at! The three people running it are so friendly and helpful; it really is a home away from home. The breakfast was great and the dinner they made us (for only 12000 COP each) was amazing! They were also happy for us to cook if we wanted, but you should try the dinner one night! The location was ideal, right near a big supermarket and the bus stop for Tayrona. Thank you guys!!

This hostel was exactly what we were looking for. In fact, in the future, if we stay in hostels, we will use this hostel as our ideal model. The atmosphere was very relaxed and easy going. The temperament of the staff and the other travellers was serene and peaceful which made for a very peaceful environment that allowed one to simple relax into the slow Caribbean pace of Santa Marta and it's surrounding areas. I highly recommend this place for the calmer more mature traveller.

Good Hostel, not really known and the taxi driver took 10min to find it when we were in the right street. Very good advises from Lisandro, he is amazing! Left our bags over there for a night to go to Tayrona, had no problem. Recommended, had a good stay.

I had such a lovely time here! Lisandro was really nice, and so was everybody else. This is a small hostel/B&B, in a house just outside the city center. If you like a quiet place with a friendly and homey atmosphere, this is the place for you. I loved the yummy breakfast (freshly squeezed juice +yogurt w/ cereal +nice portion of well cooked scrambled eggs on toast +cofee/tea); the really good WiFi and the location (close to all the buses and a big supermarket). Only con: no A/C. Recommended!

The owner is a wonderful, generous and friendly person. The hostel is nice and small but you still get to meet other travellers. A warm welcome on your arrival, clean towels and a clean bed in a 4 bed dorm or private room are waiting for you. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the supermarket, esplanade or historical centre and also the local bus stop is very close. The breakfast is delicious and filling. Follow the address on hostelworld as the one on google maps is wrong!

Lisandro is a perfect host, he made us feel like HOME. We booked 2 nights and stayed 4 nights instead. The breakfast was amazingly healthy and fresh. If you need any suggestions about where to go what to do etc... Lisandro will guide you perfectly. He showed us the way to get to Bahia Concha beach which is so nice. Thanks Agu for coming with us as well!

Pros: Staff was really friendly and welcoming. The group of travellers were fun and we all hung out together in the den. Hostel had a very fun convivial and family type vibe. Lisandro was very helpful in giving us information about where to go and what to do in the city! Cons: Hostel a little difficult to find. Located outside the city centre (but only a 5 min cab ride away). Bathroom could have been cleaner.
