Nice cosy hostel, only 8 beds. Stayed in the double room and that was great! Free wifi, very helpful and friendly owner! Recommend!!

Mango was great and thanks to the amazing atmosphere at the hostel we had fantastic time in Hervey Bay despite the continuous rain. Highly recommended! Lovely, lovely staff from Tasmania (we even went to trivia with them - and won!), home-like feeling and lovely co-travellers. We also loved the fact there was no party scene and others staying at the hostel were a bit older than average in general. Good kitchen facilities and the terrace was lovely place to spend some time listening to rain.

This small hostel is a real gem. It feels like being in someones home and the staff were so kind and helpful. If you plan to travel to Hervey Bay, this is one not to miss.

Familiar place. Only three rooms. Queenslander house. A good experience. If you have problems hearing other people sleep in the other room, don\'t go here.

Loved it here. Only 7 beds! Tiny place. The owners were on holiday and the couple running the place were so helpful. Had a family feel as was so small. Try and complete the puzzle, we only got half way through before giving up!

best hostel we stayed at so far in oz. Brilliant little hostel where it feels home from home, where you can sit at the table or in front of the t.v and eat your tea. If you want a good nights sleep and get to meet people easily then this is the hostel. Extreamly clean and cosey. The owners were away when we stayed and we had a couple looking after the hostel and they were brilliant, giving us all the information possible and helping us to find cheaper alternatives and the best places to go

i have never stayed at a hostel where the couple were so helpful and clearly had so much love for the local area and what it had to offer, ive been traveling for over a year and it was such a nice change to have a small quite hostel to stay in, but the help they gave us was second to none i even got a life to the bus stationa s there were no buses at that time. very good!
