This place is great. I've never stayed in better accommodation for $2.50. Not perfect but the quibbles are minor. The guys do tours but depending on where you're going you can probably get a better price if you barter hard on the street. I did.
it's a good hostel for real budge travelers! atmosphere was not that good, there is not really a common area. but value for money Excellent
I liked my stay here - the beds were clean and there was a new mosquito net. The bikes were also cheap and the staff was friendly. The place could do with providing toilet paper, a hook to hang up your clothes in the shower, and soap at the sink of the bathroom.
4 of us shared one room which worked out to be extremely cheap. The location of the hostel was only a comfortable 10 minute walk away from the markets and famous pub street. The staff were also very helpful in providing information and tours to the temples.
Great Place to stay. Great stuff. Very helpful. Super cheap
Wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Simply love the whimsical atmosphere, awesome music and hammock. After a tiring day exploring temples and being exposed to bustling action at the markets and Pub Street, stepping into Mangolo's compound was like stepping into a haven where we could wash the dust away, kick back, relax and play Scrabble. Transportation and tours can be arranged at Mangolo at cheaper price than directly dealing with outside operators.
I only wish they served food! Excellent value -- cheap rooms, cheap bikes, helpful staff, don't overcharge to help you get bus tickets, and just an overall good atmosphere : )
The hostel is very cheap, only 2,50 dollar. SO don't expect too much. The showers are cold. The dorm room are 10 matresses on the floor with mosquito nets. Staff is always friendly and will give you the right information. It's 5 minutes walking outside the center so you won't be bothered by the noise and crowd of Pub Street. Very quiet here.
If you want to party, this is not the place for you! This is a lovely relaxed guest house just a short walk from town. Lockers in the dorm, Mosquito nets provided. Plenty of showers and toilets. Clean sheets and towel provided. Bicycles are available to rent for a $1 a day. Angkor Wat is only a 20-30 minute ride away. Free hot water available for tea/coffee if you bring your own.
Great location, only a few minutes walk to Pub Street. Very nice staff. Located on a quiet street.
Good location; near to the local eats! Stayed in both the ground floor room and upper deck. For convenience and cleanliness, I prefer the ground floor room; there is more personal space and a big box locker under your bed. For better ventilation, the upper deck - where the beds are on the floor with mosquito nets. Bathrooms could do with hooks to hang our stuff (one bathroom has it - the female one). Staff were helpful and pleasant. It's a decently comfortable place (but please add more hooks!).
I stayed at the 4 bed dorm. The room was quite spacious but it was really dirty! I know i only paid us$3 for the room but there was dead bugs on the bed! Meanwhile i checked on the floor and there was a used band-aid! I don't know what else i might find if i checked under the bed. Only use this hostel if you have very limited budget, if not i recommend find another hostel!
Great hospitality by the management. Enjoyed how laid back they are and helpful when needed! Beautiful, quiet place just 10 minutes walk from town. Would highly recommend the dorms as there is better view and ventilation! Thanks Mangolo!

A fun little spot. With all the heavy tourist traps of Siem Reap it's nice to find a place that's a little more authentic.
they have one bottle water for free when you check in, but when living at upset is not easy to sleep ,cause they people ,
Given the price, you have to expect it offers a basic place to sleep. Nevertheless the bathrooms aren't clean and sometimes water don't get to the 2nd floor.
Hostel has cold showers. No toiletpaper, so bring your own. Good hostel for backpackers.
I was met at 1:15 am by a very nice man who said i could check in the next day and go straight to bed! the staff were all friendly and helpful, the location was good, short walk into town and but far enough away not to be affected by noise. there are some very cheap cambodian bbq places on the street for those on a strict budget. cleanlines was fine, and there was a very rexlaxed atmosphere. not a party hostel but just a pleasant one.
Great place to stay! Good location and super comfortable beds.
