it's close to the airport, cheap, simple and absolutely ok. got everything you need if your exceptions aren't too high. the air-condition was loud and the street next to it too. it got 24h check-in and the two guys were very friendly. they could arrange the lobby nicer if they'd feel like and provide maps and other helpful stuff travelers need. still i'd go there again.

Sorry for the aircon in your room a bit noisy, thank you for telling us, we asked technician to repair it immediately. The young owner of Manila Bay Hostel has visited your beautiful country 2 times, and loves he elegant culture center of Vienna City. The young owner enjoyed visiting the old house of the music genius Mozart. Please tell other Austrian tourists, travellers and young backpackers about our hostel, that it is nicest location at the most affordable room rates. Please also "like" our Facebook page. No signage what-so-ever so incredibly difficult to find. We had to ask around multiple times in the neighborhood while people kept coming up asking for money. There's not even a sign on the door, it's as if the owner doesn't want you to know where it is. So stupid. The lights were always off in the lobby and SO hot because all the AC units are there humming away. Rooms are small. Bathroom is small. Asked the guys working about the area, weren't helpful. Book a hotel instead of here.

We did not receive the room we booked. No sign on door made it difficult to find. Cockroaches and appeared very dirty. As a traveller I felt I was an inconvienence to the staff. Will not return. Did like the curtains on the bunks for privacy.

Thanks for liking privacy & quiet in our dorm's bunk beds, by the way our dorm room has fantastic view of panoramic Manila Bay & its world-famous romantic sunsets. We have #1 Best Location in Manila. "Like us on Facebook, like our many other foreign guests & backpackers... Sorry we have 2 guests from Italy who decided to extend their stay here although we explained to them that we were full & that you were then arriving. We had to request you to stay at our shared dorm room which has air-conditioning & has its own private toilet/bath with hot showers. Sorry you were disappointed & upset, but we want to clarify that there are NO cockroaches here & our hostel is always CLEAN, NEAT, QUIET. We're a simple international hostel with the best security, simple place but Clean. We are here because we have the BEST LOCATION IN THE CITY. Once again, our sincere apologies! Salut & merci à nos invités du Canada pour cming pour rester. Désolé, nous avons 2 invités en provenance d'Italie qui a décidé de prolonger leur séjour ici, même si nous leur avons expliqué que nous étions pleinement & que vous étiez alors arriver. Nous avons eu de vous demander de rester à notre salle de dortoir qui a l'air conditionné et a sa propre toilette privée / salle de bain avec douches chaudes. Désolé vous avez été déçu et bouleversé, mais nous voulons préciser qu'il existe pas de cafards ici et notre auberge est toujours propre, soigné, calme. Nous sommes une auberge simple internationaux avec les meilleures méthodes de sécurité, lieu simple mais propre. Nous sommes ici parce que nous avons le meilleur emplacement dans la ville. Encore une fois, nos sincères excuses!

Although very close to Rizal park, perfect location, back entrance to appartment building a bit tricky to find. Toilet and shower facilities were above average clean and warm shower. But no WiFi or extra facilities like relax hangout room.

It is cheap and you get a decent bed in a large and air-conditioned dorm with large lockers available. Inside the dorm room there is no problem. Outside the dorm room there is nothing. Absolutely nothing. There is no social area, nowhere to sit, nothing. When you enter the front door you are hit by the 50 degree heat from the air con exhausts which all feed into the front room making your priority getting to the dorm room. If you are after a cheap bed and nothing else then this place is fine.
