Manos Studios Hotel Reviews

Manos is a very nice guy, always ready to help. The private rooms are impeccable, though I haven\'t seen the dorms. The pool is a nice place to hang out and meet the other guests. The hostel is very close to the beach and to many good and cheap restaurants.

The guy at reception went out of his way to help us out and offer information. The room was great, with everything we needed, and the hotel happily offered us washing up liquid to use when we realised there was none in the room. It is very close to the bars, restaurants and beach in Amoudara. However, it is 6km outside of Heraklion centre, which means bus rides everyday and the nightlife in the area isn't what we were looking for as students.

Manos Studios is a really nice apartment-esqe venue. We stayed there overnight to catch a ferry to Santorini the next day, however we would not have minded staying longer. Huge comfortable rooms with a nice kitchenette included. Not to mention that the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly with anything we needed. The only thing that stinks is it's about a 10 minute taxi ride from the city center.

A bit outside Herkalion but the bus is easy enough. I had booked a dorm and was given a private room with a kitchen and ensuite bathroom instead. The manager is very helpful and friendly ( would appreciate if the hotel had maps to give its guests) and even helped me when the airline lost my baggage. Very clean and fairly quite with pool
