Arriving at Manutara 2 on a cold Wednesday morning, after a long overnight bus journey, I was greated with a log burning fire and a very accomodating staff team. This is not the place for those who rush life as the pace is slow, the vibe relaxed and local surroundings stunningly beautiful (think Twin Peaks). I was planning on staying 1 or 2 nights but have decided to stay another 3 nights. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cosy. I have found the rates well within budget. Great staff team

The owner was wonderful, spoke very good English and let us park are car in the secure area. Rooms all had two single beds with clean sheets and towels. No wifi in the hostel, however an older computer with Skype and web browser. Bathroom was also clean with lots of hot water! Only real issue is finding the place, not very well signed, however once you can read the building numbers you can find it pretty easy. Also supplied simple breakfast of toast and yogurt and jam. Great little hostel! :)

Samuel, the owner, is VERY friendly and gave us a nice stay at Chillán. Although the room's walls are thin – which might be boring if other people in the hostel talk too loud – the sheets and duvets really gives you a cozy sleep and breakfast is great. It is not in a very well located, but is ok to find out a close place to rent a car (chillán itself doesn't have much to do) or to get a bus to the surroundings (amazing places!! very good skying!).
