Outstanding cleanliness, staff, location, price. Room was small, but we didnt mind very much. Manager emailed us directions on how to take the bus, then met us at the busstop and walked us to the hostel, an invaluable help.Outstanding cleanliness, staff, location, price. Good hostel, very central, very clean! Don't expect backpackers atmosphere, it's city life here. Very small too, but that is what you get in Hong Kong if you don't want to pay lots of money. We booked a double room and were upgraded to a double with single bed at no extra cost. This is in an excellent location and our room was very clean. We had clean towels and bedding every day which we haven\'t had in a hostel yet. They even cleaned the curtains! Staff are very friendly and helpful. I called from the airport to say I was getting in late, and when my taxi arrived at Chungking Mansions the owner was waiting outside for me! The location can't be beat - right in the middle of all major areas that any traveler will head to while in HK. Although the security of the hostel itself is good, Chungking mansions (where hostel is housed) is a bit sketchy. If you are traveling w/someone, it should be fine. However, if you are a female traveling solo, it can be a little scary walking thru the mansions. Ignore the stares & walk straight to the elevator. Arrive during the day if possible.
