The owner came to pick me up from the bus stop due to the late arrival of the plane (Thanks for that!) It is HK so most of the rooms are really small and located in old mansions where many people leave; but I stayed in a refurbished room really conformtable.   Read Owner Comments

the hostel was very clean and in a fantastic location. the manager was very helpful and friendly. clean towels and bed linen everyday! only downfall is that getting to the 12th floor of the hostel was a little intimidating (perhaps not the best for a young female traveller alone)   Read Owner Comments

I was in Hong Kong for a long weekend and traveling alone. Even though the building itself is a little sketchy, I felt really safe in this hostel. The rooms were small but very clean. There was hot water, A/C, all the comforts. The owner is really nice, helpful, and not trying to scam you. Main drawback is there wasn't any easy way to meet people in the hostel - no central hangout. Other than that, a good pick in Chungking Mansion.   Read Owner Comments

Small rooms, clean shower/toliet, LOTS OF TOUTERS!! We took about 15 to 20 minutes just getting through them all just to get to our room! Good beds, great aircon, it was in a ok location but expensive. Stay on Hong Kong Island if you can, but if not, this is a good place.   Read Owner Comments

The Chunking Mansion building is almost frightening but the guest house itself is very clean and the staff friendly. The rooms are very small but the location is perfect.   Read Owner Comments

Was in a good location and felt safe.Staff is friendly and polite. Our room was tiny, as per typical Hong Kong standards, but spotlessly clean.Enjoyed the free wi-fi. Great value for money. Will stay there again!!

the hostel itself was very clean indeed. The room also had a TV with ten or so channels, including BBC World, air-con, a large ceiling fan as well as a window which could be opened for further ventilation, very welcome in humid Hong Kong! The room also has a phone which is free to use for local landline and mobile calls in HK.Mr.John was very helpful and gave us his card to ring if we had any problems.A highly recommended guesthouse if you wish in stay in Chungking Mansions.

Rooms were clean with good facilities but extremely compact. The walls were very thin so you could here everyone in the hostel. Double beds were very small - more like a king size single. Located in Chung King Mansions which is a bit dodgy particularly for single women travelers. Ok for a couple seeking cheap accommodation in great location.
