The accomodation was quite familiar and very friendly. I liked the victorian style of the building and the well situated location.

We stayed in Room7 which is a dbl ensuite. The shower is pretty poor and the room is basic but as a base for venturing out it is ideal. The owner was friendly and made us feel welcome. As we were only there for a couple of days we didn'y really utilse the lounge and kitchen area but both looked good and functional.

Fantastic location. Great communal lounge and kitchen, with free tea/coffee (lots of posters with rather defensive kitchen rules though). No parking so have to search for parking on road. Very expensive for a hostel and what you get. Lots of very weird (and worrying) rules. Overall "OK" as a bed for the night, but don't expect much more than that.
