Paradise affordable. This is a perfect example of what Eco-Turism is all about. Comfortable accomodation, good food, very friendly staff some of whom are good musicians too. I highly recomend to experience Maqai Beach and explore the infinite possiblities of things to do, in the Island and around.Paradise affordable. Maqai was an unforgettable trip and I can't wait to go back! If you want to do nothing all day, you can. If you want your day full of activities - that's cool too. If you want a TRUE Fijian experience then this is the place to go. Way off the beaten backpacker track, on a beautiful private beach you will find the coolest staff, good food and fun activities. Really sad to leave as we have made some great friends here. Will definately be returning in the near future for some more of the same!If you want a TRUE Fijian experience then this is the place to go. It is a great laid back island paradise. No frills, heaps of fun. It takes a bit of effort to get there but is definitely worth it. Its not just for surfers. Make sure you make it out to the private island Nunuku. Absolute Heaven! It is a great laid back island paradise. No frills, heaps of fun.
