Paradise affordable. This is a perfect example of what Eco-Turism is all about. Comfortable accomodation, good food, very friendly staff some of whom are good musicians too. I highly recomend to experience Maqai Beach and explore the infinite possiblities of things to do, in the Island and around.

Maqai was an unforgettable trip and I can't wait to go back! If you want to do nothing all day, you can. If you want your day full of activities - that's cool too. The location is absolutely stunning, the staff is wonderful, and the food is delicious! A very special place!

If you want a TRUE Fijian experience then this is the place to go. Way off the beaten backpacker track, on a beautiful private beach you will find the coolest staff, good food and fun activities. Really sad to leave as we have made some great friends here. Will definately be returning in the near future for some more of the same!

This location is prone to be windy at this time of year and as luck would have it a lot of the time the wind blew and the rain rained but with good company and patience we were able to enjoy a bit of good surfing which is what I went for

It is a great laid back island paradise. No frills, heaps of fun. It takes a bit of effort to get there but is definitely worth it. Its not just for surfers. Make sure you make it out to the private island Nunuku. Absolute Heaven!

Very welcoming and friendly staff. A great place to learn about real fijian culture.
