Quintas paredes is a safe and quiet place. Walking distance to Salitre Plaza.

Lovely, quiet hostel: clean, safe, great kitchen, warm water, sabroso breakfest, lovely and very helpful staff.

The place was surprisingly clean, and welcoming. Very good first impression. The staff very accommodating. Only issue is that the bell is very low, and most of the time it would be a while before they would open the door. Other than that, the place was good for the price.

Very good located if you need to go the day after to the bus terminal or airport. My experience has been very good. There were some works at the hostel, so they offer me a private room instead the shared one with no charges. The pc wasn´t available because broken, so Paola, one of the employees, offer me her pc without any problem. The shower is huge and with hot water. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I definetely recommend this hostel

stayed here one night between medellin and the states, and they were quite accomodating in allowing me to leave my things in the hostel and hang out as long as I needed to (my flight was the next evening). Breakfast was included, there is a nice open area with tables and couches, several indoor hammocks, some bathrooms with HUGE showers and lovely hot water, and the beds were firm with amazingly warm thick blankets (a necessity in bogota!). Only downside was location--hard to find for taxis!!

If going to the U.S. Embassy, this place is an excellent choice, since there are only hotels in this area. 5 minutes walk and you reach the Embassy. The neighbourhood is not really something special, but there are restaurants and a supermarket. The hostel itself could need a bigger sign in front, since you cannot really find it until you are right in front of the door. Owners are really nice, helping out with everything, and there's also a breakfast (basic) included in the price.
