Great Hostel. Had a really welcoming feeling and an excellent setup. The kitchen is good, and the terrace is great for hanging out with other hostelers.

Great location. It says 22 mixed dorm but they are all separate. we were in a four bed dorm with all girls, with our own little kitchen (cooked dinner there one night) and bathroom so we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very helpful. overall it was very nice. would def recomend. Riomaggiore is just beautiful.

Good place to lay your head while exploring the 5 Terre. Didn't really get to meet the staff and this isn't a place where the accommodation is the centre of 'fun' - you get that out and about. But for the location and the price, it was awesome!

The only good thing about this stay was the view from our room however there was a disgusting stench in the corner the kitchen facilities were non existent the stove took constant 20 minutes to lite, the dish sponge was filthy, the bin gross, no tea & coffee making facilities at all, no point buying in your own food would be very difficult to cook in there, the very rude people running it have several hostels this was a far cry from the one we booked, no wifi and no breakfast,

We got there at 9am but had to waited until 11am to check in. The room wasn't cleaned yet, but someone quickly got there to clean up, change sheet and stuff. Excellent location, right across a 24 hrs bar that we got breakfast and wifi everyday from. One down side is the shower pressure is extremely poor when turned to hot water. Daily shower was a pain for me. Sound proof is excellent because we hear no noise from the bar at night if window is closed.

Perfect location. Pretty clean dorm. No bunk beds, set up feels like you are sleeping with the dwarves from snow white. Staff leave you alone but are there for you if you have questions. I would recommend this place. Made some friends here and the view from our balcony was amazing.

We were lucky enough to get put into a twin private room within an apartment. We had booked 13 bed dorm! Perfect location. Had friends staying at two other hostels in the area and visited them both, mar mar best by far! Great kitchen and facilities. Defiantly stay here. Only downside is no lockers but we had no problems with our stuff.

More like apartments then a hostel. We booked 2 nights here, but when we arrived we where told we had to change rooms for our second night so they could fit us in. it wasn't really an issue for us, but we where made to feel like they where doing us a favour by allowing us to even stay 2 nights. It just would have been nice for the staff to say " sorry for this". Apart from that great apartments both very social.

i was worried about having no lockers, but this wasnt a problem. The hostel reception has a safe and kept my passport and valuables during my stay. The room consisted of a large flat, very spacious and not cramped and stuffy like some other hostels in town. I would definitely recommend staying here. it was nice and clean and i had no problems meeting other travellers here to hang out with.

Riomaggiore is a great town to stay in to see Cinque Terre. I loved that this hostel had a kitchen. There are little supermarkets nearby so it made eating cheap. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were great. Staff are a little abrupt but not so bad I guess. The only thing that I didn't like about the place was no internet. At all! Not even to buy. Overall I wouldn't object to staying here again.

Mar-Mar was amazing! Although there are no lockers and only one door with a lock, the people we encountered in our week there were kind and trustworthy and we had absolutely no problem leaving our belongings in the apartment. There are a few broken pots (missing handles etc) and the fridge is not regularly cleaned out, but the rest of the apartment is clean and bright, beautiful and comfy. There is a beautiful terrace, 3 rooms (7 beds, 3 beds, and 2 beds), the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Amazing!

The hostel itself is more like a little appartment, with a big kitchen, 2 bathrooms both with showers, 2 little rooms and a large room with 6 dorms. You get to hang out with other travellers, and the balcony has an amazing view over Riomagiorre. Would recommend it to anyone.... loved this place !
