It was the second time within one month that I spent a night at the MarcoPolo Inn. What had happened inbetween?!? The staff was very grumpy, the bathroom was not cleaned (and for that I had to wait till 2pm to check in), the kitchen was very dirty (cupboards, fridge, sink...). What a pity!
Does the job - very conveniently located across from the bus station, lots of communal space, decent breakfast and friendly and well informed staff. Biggest problem with this place is there was only one power point in my 6 bed dorm (one more in the bathroom above the sink, but not exactly an ideal place to be charging your electronics!
Marcopolo Inn has really a great location as it is right across from the bus station. It has a pool which was great after spending the day at the waterfalls in the humid area and walking through the jungle. The hostel has a garden where people hang out. People at the reception where helpful when organizing a visit to the waterfalls.
Really, the staff here is fantastic. The outside kitchen and common area next to the pool is definetly a plus plus plus.
Staff was nice, breakfast good. Location is great, right by the bus station. Room was right next to kitchen, people were talking till 1.30am (loud), no chance to sleep....
Good hostel in terms of location and rooms. The kitchen could have more equipment and the staff could be nicer.
They told us there was no double bed when I see one on the frontpage of the website. We told them we saw them and they told us they didn't... So don't go if you are a couple. There was barely enough pressure in the shower that it was almost impossible to shower. Bad smell coming from the shower after. Plugs were barely fonctionning. Isolation very bad we hear everything happening outside. Wifi was not working. Otherwise it was good. Close from the station, they keep your luggage for free.

Really nice place to stay if you're thinking about doing iguazu falls. It is opposite the bus station and the staff are helpful in organising your trip. There are also nice cafés and restaurants nearby if you're looking to go out but there is also a nice big kitchen if you're looking to cook yourself. The rooms are clean and tidy too and the atmosphere is just very nice and relaxed!
Too expensive for what we got. Breakfast was toast, cereal, coffee/tea/juice and apples. Wifi barely worked even in the common areas right outside of the office. The sheets did not seem very clean either. I don't have high expectations when staying in hostels, but this place was not anywhere close to what I had hoped based on other reviews.

This had potential to be an amazing hostel, however: 1. On arrival we had to sign a set of rules, which are not so welcoming and include: - Not allowed your own alcohol (the hostel sells it, but it is not so cheap) - If you check out a minute after 10am you will lose your deposit 2. They packed up breakfast 15 minutes earlier than advertised. 3. The staff were hit and miss. One very friendly and helpful, but the other two not so. On a brighter note, the location is excellent & rooms good.
Nice place, but bit too big and not so cosy. When I was there, the people were very young 18-20).
Excellent location opposite the bus terminal for access to the falls. Staff were helpful in giving advice on visiting the falls and rooms/bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was pretty good and cooking facilities were great. Wifi also worked most of the time!
Very close to the bus station which takes you to the falls. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. Wifi was rubbish and never worked. Rooms were clean with large lockers to put your full backpack in. Bathroom was old and probably in need of a refurb.
Guy behind the reception was more concerned with his Facebook than checking me in, and didn't give me much info. Rooms are basic, and the building reminded me of a hospital. Too big and inpersonal. The outdoor area is very nice!
nice hostel clean staff were good as well would stay here again
Nice breakfast, the kitchen equipment could be better (e.g. pots are punched in; burnt in and old). But I think most people go to restaurants instead of cooking there. The pool is perfect after a hot day at the waterfalls. It's a huge hostel with lots of guests. Do not expect any atmosphere. All the people just go to the waterfalls and leave after max. 2 nights.
This is a really nice hostel. It´s in a convenient area, right across from the bus station. The outdoor are is really nice. There´s a bar setup outside in front with an indoor seating area too. The rooms are arranged around a common outdoor area which makes for a relaxing evening sitting outside. There´s a pool. The rooms are airconditioned. And the hostel staff and guests are very social.
We only stayed a few nights but thought it was a lovely hostel in a brilliant location. Staff were very helpful, especially when we had bank/ money issues after flying straight in from Peru. Very relaxed atmosphere and the bar was on the front which meant we were not disturbed by the noise when we had an early night. We had a twin room to ourselves which was lovely for a hostel room. The only thing was that we only seemed to get cold water most of the time in the shower but wasn't too bad.

Location of the hostel was fantastic- right across from the bus terminal, which made day trips much easier to plan. Staff were awesome in recommending things to do/sights to see! The place had a great vibe to it- would definitely stay again!
