Very impressed by the hostel! I stayed in 4 people dorm. Room had air conditioning, bathroom, was clean and quiet. You get a free towel which is changed every day, a shampoo and a soap. Hostel situated just in front of the bus station and it's really handy when you arrive or going to the falls. The price is good for a normal city and considering the location - it's great.

Incredible location right across the road from the bus stop and right next to a handful of really nice restaurants. Not much to do at Marcopolo atmosphere wise as there is no common area to socialise apart from a small tv room. Added bonus of a pool however! Security is average as you don't walk past reception to your room so anyone can walk in. Aircon in rooms is incredible for this climate and also rooms are cleaned daily! Would stay again simply because it's value for money!

Staff not that passionate, I felt bad asking questions as it felt like I was bothering them, pretty good breakfast, located across the road from the bsu station you can't really get a better location.

Good hostel but some rooms have bad aircon and rooms close to the kitchen are noisy at night

Very nice place to chill after the falls. Staff is very nice and helpful, they will always help you with your trip in the falls. It's very close to the bus station and the center of puerto Iguazu but you have to take a bus for 20 minutes to go to the national park. Rooms and breakfast are nice but it's not very clean.

Nothing special but I can't complain. Easy location, staff were helpful with planning trips - I can recommend it.

Staff are helpful, location is good (nice walk to 3 borders). Good facilities. Reliable wifi. Decent enough breakfast though nothing special. Generally a good stay! They can arrange your tours to the falls - don't be tricked into thinking you have to do the safari or nautical trips - it's not an either/or, you can just pay entrance and walk around! The boat is fun though. But you will get soaked to the skin - despite any amount of waterproofing. Bring spare clothes and shoes. A good stay!

Great hostel - very relaxed atmosphere and super convenient for catching the bus as it's right across from the station. The rooms were also very nice although the wifi was a challenge to connect to.

The facilities were ok. The WIFI very poor. Just one socket in the room to charge our phones. The breakfast was enough. The shower was horrible, just a trickle of water almost cold, need to wait 10 min to get it a little warmer. The atmosphere overall was kind of boring but the experience was good.

Nice friendly hostel, well located in the town, and excellent for visiting the falls and accessing the bus station. Stayed in a four bed room which was large and roomy, although quite dark inside. There was a shower available for use after checking out, so it´s no problem to visit the falls on your last day.

The staff were really helpful.

Great location close to some great restaurants and the bus station. The bathroom smelt and shower was terrible.

Hi Victoria, we will take your comment into account and see if there is anything wrong with the bathroom. Sometimes it can happen depending on the weather that some unusual smell happens. But this has nothing to do with the cleaning but with the city sewage system and this is usually only punctual.

Really helpful staff but could do with some more at busy times. Great wifi, breakfast was good. Stayed in a double private room with comfy beds, bathroom was very clean.

great location across from the terminal- so useful! Wifi doesnt work out side the lobby. staff is very unmotivated and dont want to answer your questions. the hostel is pretty, not really a party hostel but you can have your own party so its ok. the rooms were pretty humid but clean. breakfast was average, really good bread. met a couple of cool people at the hostel and most of them are the ones you run into all day! i would recommend it.

We are working hard on trying to resolve wifi issues. We actually recently changed our router and increase the speed of the connection but some configuration needs to be tweaked to make sure all cellphones can connect without problem. In any case we have computers available in reception for those who have problems connecting to the wifi.

A great, clean hostel located opposite the bus station, making it convenient to travel to/from the waterfalls or getting in/out of the area. The staff are helpful and they are able to organise tours for you (although I did all mine independently, so cant really comment on this).

The showers stopped working our second night but the staff was super responsive and called someone to fix it right away. The location could not be more perfect for the bus to the falls, which is why everyone is there! The breakfast is the basic breakfast at every hostel, but that's to be expected.

It was the second time within one month that I spent a night at the MarcoPolo Inn. What had happened inbetween?!? The staff was very grumpy, the bathroom was not cleaned (and for that I had to wait till 2pm to check in), the kitchen was very dirty (cupboards, fridge, sink...). What a pity!

Owner Comment (Hide)
Hi,thanks for your comment. I am not sure which bathroom you are referring to but they are cleaned everyday just like the kitchen. I hope you'll also understand that the state of the kitchen not only depends on us but people who use it and who should be leaving it as they found it, which does not always happen.

Does the job - very conveniently located across from the bus station, lots of communal space, decent breakfast and friendly and well informed staff. Biggest problem with this place is there was only one power point in my 6 bed dorm (one more in the bathroom above the sink, but not exactly an ideal place to be charging your electronics!
