I had a great time at this hostel! I arrived with reservations for five nights, and enjoyed everyday a little bit more than the one before. The staff was super helpful, and had creative ideas of things to do for the least amount possible. My trip also ended with some sudden financial issues, and they were very patient with me until we were able to get it resolved. Great dinner every night, satisfying breakfast in the morning, nice rooms and nice size bathroom!

This hostel is underrated on hostelworld and in the lonely planet. I arrived late and found dinner was available until 10.30. The breakfast and dinner are good enough actually. There is also a lift and the receptionist booked my bus for me (cost 5 pesos) which included printing the ticket.

The staff at the Marco Polo Bariloche are extremely helpful I was so greatful for their assistance it made my time in Bariloche so much more enjoyable. The bar area is great and the free dinner is a great idea to bring people together. All in all this hostel was brillant.

Two complaints: 1. The administration of the heating system. When the night is hot, the heating system must be switched off promptly. 2. The guests must be informed very clearly that they cannot make noise late in the night and disturb other guests.

One of the best hostels I stayed in this trip. They include breakfast and a pretty decent dinner. It's also just a relaxed, cool place to hang out at if you feel like chilling. Staff was also amazing and the entire place is really clean. Loved it! Worth a few dollars more per night over other places.

A big factory like hostel where room space is compromised for more rooms, free dinner compromised with not being allowed to bring in your own alcohol and new and relatively clean facilities cancelling out the lack of character. For some this may be th best hostel ever with the bar providing a good meeting point, but for me it just lacked that little bit of character.

Dinner and breakfast are both included. Both were pretty hardy meals - the hostel didn't just do the bare minimum.

Great place. Lots of information about activities, staff are very nice (Wally was especially great to us), big lockers for storage, and the place was very clean. Good location to downtown as well. And suprisingly, we found the free dinner to be really good- very flavorful. Enjoyed the stay very much.

There are definitely worse options at the price. The mood was a little bit flat other than at dinner time (don't be a vegetarian and you'll get a pretty reasonable meal), and the dorm bathrooms are even dirtier than normal, but its certainly worth considering this place.

Not a bad hostel, but nothing to make one say WOW either. Certainly the free dinner is a great touch if a little small and basic. Sill, it´s the only hostel that serves dinner for free along with breakfast so it´s a good thing. THe bar isn´t like most H.I. bars in that, once dinner was over, it was deserted. Definitely nothing wrong with this place but it lacks the Wow factor.

Super helpful staff... Emilio is a legend! Offer great advice and just so willing to assist! Not a huge party hostel but good bar area. Easy access to the centre of Bariloche town too... just beware, the rain, wind, ash, dust might literally knock you off your feet!

Massive hostel. Dinner isnt the greatest, but its free! Staff are friendly & helpful.

positive: Very helpful and nice staff (esp Walter), great large room with lake view, large common and bar area, 10min walk to city center, good tour recommendations negative: WIFI not working, only 2 computers, dinner won't fill you but Highly recommended!

The staff were extremely helpful and organised many tours for us and gave great sound advice. The hostel is centrally located, very safe and secure. The rooms are on the small side, but perfectly acceptable and clean. I would recommend this hostel for sure! This is not a party hostel, but I had a great time.

Good hostel overall. Friendly staff. I would stay there again. The dinner is a good appetizer. I had to go out and buy something else both nights.

Its at least a 2 star hotel!!Enjoyed every second at marcopolo inn!! Dorm Rooms are big and tidy and cleaned ever day which was great.. The staff are very helpfull in introducting all the different activities.. Dont expect the free dinner to be a restaurant dish but its still decent.. During my stay in bariloche i stayed in 3 hostels and I would recommend this hostel to anyone ..

Good place to stay. The staff are very friendly, always ready to help with questions, advice and arranging activities. The free evening meal (nothing amazing but still good) was an added bonus that helped save cash and time. Hostel has a lot of services such as car rental, hostel booking, bus tickets etc. Internet on the computers was slow, and I could not get the wifi to work on my laptop....but not a big deal. Very great and helpful staff. Nice room and cleanliness was very good. Breakfast was decent, but the free included dinner was not anything special(which you not expect when it is free), but it gets the job done.
