You're paying for location with this hostel as its only a 15min walk to the colosseum therefore it is convenient. The atmosphere was great,we met some new people easily as the terrance definitely encourages conversation. That said the rooms were cramped and boiling, the lock out times were inconvenient and if you want a night on the town you getting back in relies solely on weather the receptionist can stay awake. In summary the hostel has great location but in no way is it worth the price.

the staff was just amazingly friendly. Free breakfast in the morning, free pasta in the evening - that makes for a great atmosphere. Really enjoyed my time there - see you soon Martin

We loved our time here. The staff were so helpful and so sweet. There aren't lockers in your room, but they are in the hallway and you can use them. It is really close to a metro stop and a really good gelato shop. They have free dinner every night which made it really easy to meet new people!

I stayed in one bedroom which looked more like a corridor, it was hot as well, doesn't matter the hour, day or night. quite impossible to sleep and we could only open one window because the other one was blocked by the beds. Read the details, they have a lock out from 11h until 16h and a "lock in" from 2h until 6h, you don't have any keys so you can't enter the hostel if no one is at the reception. Bath: No hot water, the drain is always blocked Very poor breakfast.

The staff is lovely although confused at times as it is so full. Rooms are very small and crowded. The only common room is the terrace, which closes between 21:30 and 22:00. The kitchen is not available for cooking as the staff prepare dinner for their guest. It's good but therefore gone quickly as well. A very basic breakfast is available as well if you quick enough. All in all bit a bad experience but slightly mixed feelings.

I was pleasently surprised i had seen a few worrying reviews prior to my arrival .However i found a pleasent stay & staff is really good treat me like a family member, dinner and breakfast FREE of cost so nice. my bedroom & bathroom kept clean .even i used WI-FI on my bed room area .location is really close to main train station.its easy to go everywhere you want.would like to stay again in the future..

Very Nice.

Free breakfast and dinner is great, and sangria on the weekends :) nice atmosphere, located close to colosseum and main attractions but far from nightlife. Close to cheap restaurants. Staff are super friendly. The rooms are way too small though, and with the heat wave it's a little suffocating. You can't cook in the kitchen, but they cook for you for free so I was okay with that. No lockers to put your valuables. Overall a good hostel for the price! Good for a solo traveler.

The great thing about this hostel is that you get free breakfast and free dinner too. The staff are friendly and the outside terrace is lovely. However, they NEED air conditioning as the fans in the room are not enough for how hot and sticky it is. They also seem to cram a lot of people into one room not helping the heat. The rule that you can't be in the hostel between 11pm-3pm didn't bother us as we were out all day but I do think they need to reconsider this as it could be an inconvenience!

The atmosphere was great and the staff quite friendly. The most negative point was that we didn't have a badge/code/key and every time we had to ring the bell to enter (couldn't enter after 3am) and everyone could enter the other's room.

It was very hot, maybe you guys can get more fans.

The staff was super nice and allowed us to come to the pasta and sangria party each night which was awesome.

This place was cool cause alot of cool people stay here BUT hanging out there is a pain. In the summer its so unbareably Hot. The terrace is nice to hang out on but the curfew at 930pm is wack. Staff is a hit or miss. Little cook man is nice and quiet and the one bro is hilarious but the old geezer is bunk and the tall lenky slitherin guy in muscle shirts is crazy so be aware because hes no match for Hungarian Silard or Slovenian overweight Silard and he might call the POLICE on you!

loved this hostel. staff is awesome.terrace is amazing for chill-out and easy to meet people..they feed free dinner / breakfast so gooood...location is near to terminal station.everything was good but the price could be cheaper....

While the people at the hostel were fabulous, the owners were very touchy feely, inappropriate and overbearing. They first said they would let us in at any hour of the night but when it came to weekends, our curfew was 2am. They also overcrowded the rooms and we had to argue with the owners for another fan for the room.

What a crappy hostel...1 plug in each room, dirty, common areas closed at 9:30pm...then you have to go out or go to your room (and be back by 2am), fridge is filthy, no lockers in rooms (limited ones at reception), owners are creepy...loads of inappropriate comments about going home with them, bathrooms smell, an extra bed was added to our already cramped room so they could squeeze more people in and make an extra $, free dinner is the same everyday, luggage storage only available until 4pm

Honestly the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff put another bunk bed in our room, going from a 6 to an 8. We didn't even have a foot between each bed. It was already disgustingly warm in this room, and it was now worse. The staff didn't care and extremely rude about the situation too. They have been gross and made inappropriate comments to girls the entire stay. No lockers. 4 bathrooms for 25ish people. And curfew is around 2. Location is sketchy and dangerous. Avoid at all costs!!

Fairly good price, and includes dinner and a light breakfast. Communal areas and the kitchen close early, and there are no keys or places to put valuables, but not a bad place to stay on a budget

Mixed feelings. Location was sketchy but easily accessible to Termini. When I left my bags for the day before I could check-in, they went in the kitchen instead of a locked room. However, the place is locked up all day/night. No keys. The host was very nice, though. I liked that there were 4 private bathrooms. It was VERY hot, thought. Also, the terrace closes at 9:30...and there is no bar/restaurant there so the social aspect is difficult at night. HOWEVER, social dinner was great.

Very welcoming staff! And you got FREE pasta and dessert and breakfast every day. What else could you ask for? And you will meet a lot of people of the similar age at the common area because of the age restriction. Would definitely recommend to everyone who will stay in Rome.
