Good hostel to stay for a couple of days. Enjoy the free pasta.

One word - BEDBUGS!!! BEDBUGS in the beds. BEDBUGS on the walls. Dirty, badly maintained with furniture crammed into tiny rooms and a sprinkling of bedbugs throughout. We moved rooms upon finding the bugs only to find more in the next room too. By this stage it was midnight and we had no choice but to stay. Cold shower. No door locks. No space in room . Broken chairs and outdoor furniture. Positives - free dinner and breaky. Cheap hostel but I wouldn't stay again if it was free!

These are actually really nice guys starting out and unfortunately have a couple of teething problems. No hot water for 2 days when I was there and in Italy, it's tough to shower with cold water. Also, my bed panels were broken. They serve 2 free meals a day included in your stay price (breakfast and dinner), which was a nice touch, but maybe try and get the basics right first before giving food to the guests. Also, the location is in an area with no restaurants, but close to the city.

The location of the hostel is good because it's close to Termini Station, has some shops and it's 20 minutes from the coliseum. The hostel has breakfast and lunch what makes it a really good choice. some of the rooms are small for the amount of beds and you may find some problem to reach your bed if you're overweight. Also the hostel doesn't seem to be cleaned regularly. However the staff is really friendly, the location is good and the hostel is a great place to meet people.

Great hostel with an all evening served pasta. Amazing atmosphere on the terrace with the possibility for the ice bucket challenge. :D However, definitely recommend this hostel!

If you expect a nice modest place where you could have Just a minimum of intimacy and a rest this is not the right one. The walls seem to be made out of paper, people talking loud until late either in the corridors or the kitchen can be heard from the rooms... Beds r so close to each other that one just simply does not have room to pack in or go inside in a decent way when everybody is inside. The staff is not unkind but they treat u right away as "friends", they flirt too much, too soon, pfff!

Pros: Very good location Free pasta at night Cons: They say they give free breakfast, but it's not a full breakfast, more of a snack Only 4 bathrooms, so it gets extremely crowded in the morning You can't get cold water sometimes You have to leave the hostel from 10:00 to 16:00. You also can't use the kitchen during that time

The hostel is very different from the description online...no common area, he kitchen is just a microwave, and the guy in charge is hardly ever even there to ask questions to.

The staff were all really nice and the breakfast and dinner provided were basic but tasty. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is traveling on a budget. The only bad thing was that the patio closed at 10:30pm and the kitchen at 11pm so if you want to stay up later or socialise you will have to go out.

The best thing about this place is that breakfast and dinner are included.Fresh bakery donuts and pasta. Rome is expensive to stay in so the Marian works for travelers on a Budget. However the bathrooms are completely disgusting the floor is always wet cause the showers don't have proper covers. The place is small and old and rooms are tiny and hot. Area is also kinda sketchy at night. If your going to stay here go with the 8 person room the 4 bed rooms are freaking small and really hot.

Lot of bed bugs, we could see they running on the walls, after a terrible night. Queue to use the dirty bathroom the positive was the pasta during one night And the unsufficient, but tasty croissant in the breakfast

Staff veeeery friendly. Too much sometimes. They give free breakfast ( coffe, milk, croissants) and free dinner (pasta) for all the hostel. Near to the main train station and to the metro.

I stayed in this hostel for 4 nights, arranged to a room with 4 bunk beds on the date of my arrival. Unfortunately, when i come back on the 3rd night of my stay, i found that my belongings on my bed was moved away to another bed. I asked the staff here what happened. He told me i made a mistake and i should be staying in another room. I don't mind they rearranged my bed but what i dislike most is that they did not notify me before they did this re-arrangement and moved my belongings.
