Great place! The staff was friendly and helpful. Fresh coffee offered all day, free breakfast. Very clean neat place to stay: lots of cool trinkets, paintings and interesting decorations. Soft sheets, clean bathrooms, great shower, open air terrace. The very friendly owners will take you in their car to the airport, which only takes about 5 minutes. The one drawback is that it is a bit removed from the rest of the city. We were just there for our last night in the city so it was perfect.

For an aviation fanatic like me, this home of a retired air force pilot felt like a home away from home. The home itself is lovely - marbled floors and clean rooms - and the staff were extremely helpful. We had a bit of difficulty locating the place since it is in a guarded air force residential area, but once there we enjoyed our stay.

We chose to stay here because we were arriving late in the evening at the Guatemala airport, and didn't want to have to travel into the city after a long day of flights. We were picked up at the airport, brought to a local restaurant for food and then brought back to a clean and comfortable home stay. Breakfast the next day was great, and we were even driven back to the airport so we could arrange transport to Antigua. They went out of their way for us multiple times in our short 12 hr stay.

Although we only stayed one night while passing through Guatemala City, this place was amazing! Jeanette and Fernando were so helpful with lots of good tips. The breakfast was also excellent. We would definitely recommend staying here!

It is very good and convenient if you have an early flight from Guatemala airport and just need to spent a night near. Very clean, friendly staff, small local style breakfast is included and they will bring you to the airport at any time! When I was there the hot water did not work at 5 in the morning but that may have been an exception.

Extremely nice people! Clean room and bathroom, good breakfast. And an amazing model on Guatemala City which decorates the living room during the Christmas period.

We were pleased with the accomodations and the freindly helpfull owners. However, we expected to pay the price quoted and were charged about $34 vs. the &27 quoted. The $34 is just going from memory. suggest accurate info be given. Overall a good experience.

Mariana and her husband and staff were very helpful as we started our trip in Guatemala. I would highly recommend them as a good, warm base for traveling.

This hotel is by far the nicest hotel we have stayed in our entire Central America trip. The owner is very nice to offer free airport transportation, as the place is just 5 mins away from the airport. The hotel is more like a home stay, with a lot of personal attention. I was especially fascinated with the model houses and miniature christmas village the owner built. The room is spotlessly clean and spacious, breakfast is included, location is not too far from Zona Viva. Great place!

Exactly what we were looking for to help us on our way. Don Fernando picked us up at the airport and took us directly to the hostel ( no extra cost ). Big room, nice beds, clean place, good staff, great breakfast. Certainly a fair price for the offer. Highly reccomended if you are flying in late in the day or flying out early in the morning.
