This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. It was close to the city, yet far enough away to be peaceful (although a light sleeper may be distrubed by the trains - I wasn't). The hosts were freindly, welcoming and helpful. I will definately book a retrun stay next time I'm in Amsterdam!

this was an awesome place to stay! kinda far from most of the amsterdam action, but the walk is pleasant (if long) and you can always walk to the centraal station and take a bus from there. it is rather close to centraal station. marie-ann and her husband were great. both were very nice. you share the common space and bathroom with one other room on the houseboat, but this was never a problem. there is a kitchen so you can cook for yourself. we loved it here and will definitely be back!

It was the coolest place I've ever stayed! Really, the only downside was that it was quite a walk from the action in Amsterdam, but when the weather was nice it was a lovely walk. The owners were so helpful and kind. They really made a beautiful place to stay.

The houseboat was like a mini apartment well-equipped with kitchenette, cosy rooms and our favourite corner where we had meals and chill-outs. The shower room was very clean and the overall decor was pretty. Internet access kept information within easy reach. It was such a unique experience that we wished our stay was longer!

Marie-Ann was very nice and helpful. The rooms are cute and quiet. Perfect for a couple to get away from the city, but not too far away.

Awesome :)
Highly recommended, we will definately be returning next year! Really nice, super clean place to stay, only 10 minutes walking distance from the city centre, but it is situated down a slightly secluded street which was a bit creepy at first! It didn't take long to get used to the area and feel safe there though. Overall, it was a really enjoyable trip made even better by such a fsntastic pace to stay :)
Cheers Marie-Ann!!
