Marilyn Mansion offers great, affordable accomodation in a quiet area of Dublin. It's clean, the staff is admirably nice and flexible, the rooms are functunal but nice (had a TV and a sink in the room) and not to small (speaking about a single room). The charming house is situated the South of the City with several buses linking it to the most important places including the city centre (serveral buses) and the airport (via Bus 16). I would definately recommend it.

Fantastic and friendly staff. Large room and very warm! Decor in room dated and quite dusty. Cobwebs hanging from lights and ceiling.

I requested a quite room, was given one next to shared bathroom, the separating wall appeared to be a partition wall. There was no kitchen facility whatsoever. The whole place was dated and dingy, although it has bags of potential. Fine for a night but I wouldn't recommend for a longer stay.

Very good! Quiet suburbian area, yet very close to the city centre or Rathmines centre. Also very convienient for travelling to the airport, bus No16 takes approx 1 hour 15 minutes, 3 times per hour during the peak hours. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, bathrooms shared but I never had to wait. Ideal for my work/study trip. The only bad thing about my stay was this angry man staying nextdoor cursing aloud at like 4AM and slamming door aggresively wherever he went. Grow up, man
