There is no valid reason to stay anywhere else in the Dublin area. To be on either pier in the evening beats anything at Temple Bar! Roberto and his staff run a hostel with grace. Thank you all.

I did love my stay at marina house they really made me feel at home thanks for all the kindness and great energy that all of you proportionate to me ... very well manage hostel clean, great location, near by great restaurants, night life, train station connecting to Dublin and Wicklow garden the best area of Dublin in my opinion. A big hug for Ricardo and Roberto both an amazing staff ill remember both of you.

It was a bit off the beaten path but they warned us about this at booking. Main complaints are (1) the room was freezing (2) hostel has only 2 tiny shower cubicles with push buttons which trigger a brief jet of scalding water. I don't know why people use those torture devices when there are much better options.
