The hostel provided a comfortable stay during my trip in Bergen. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were neat and comfortable, even though I would have preferred the bed to be a little more comfortable. Overall it was a nice experience and I would surely stay with them if I plan to visit Bergen again!!

Quiet, clean, cheerful, and friendly hostel centrally located with lots of character. Staff are very accommodating. Great value for the money. If you are ever locked out after reception hours, dont bother calling the numbers listed-- you'll get nowhere. Instead hope and pray that you will catch a staff member walking by-- that's really your only hope.

I enjoyed my stay and have already recommended this hostel to a traveling friend. Things I liked best were: the location, the reasonably priced espresso machine in the dining room(!), and the cleanliness especially the bathrooms. When I first entered the main entrance a bit tired and confused, I didn't see and understand how to use the elevator at first. Maybe some better signage would be helpful to weary travelers.

The locations was perfect! They are kidding when they say it is 3 minutes from the train station. The whole place felt clean and safe. The wireless worked well for me. I wish we could've stayed longer!

Nice, clean, convenient hostel with very helpful staff. Great location, and the view from the dining room is stunning. Just don't forget to bring your own bed linen!

This place isn't big enough to handle groups/ school kids. They take over the showers and kitchen. Apart from that it's a nice, quiet hostel with little to no interaction between guests.

That was a nicely designed clean hostel. I don't mean the security is not too good. But the fact that the reception is open for a limited time follows some risk. What if the entry code does not work when we arrive there at the midnight?

Owner Comment (Show)
Thank you for your nice review. We appreciate this. I just wanted to comment on the question about what happens in case you are locked out or check-in with credit card does not work. Next to our front door, you find a poster with telephone numbers you can call for assistance. Then someone will come and help you with check-in. This phone number is active 24 hours a day.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bathroom connected to our room had heated floors! Helpful staff, clean rooms, good stay.

Bed linen is not included in your rent so you have to pay extra for that which I dont like it (not to mention towel). you have a key card for your room and a key for you little locker in the room, thus I rate it as a moderate security. there is a share kitchen which should be good for people who like to cook and have a economic trip, but noted that the kitchen can be quite crowded at dinner time. there is only one shared computer which does not work very well, lucky they have a weak wifi
