Location location location...smack bang in the middle of party town. Great bar, great staff and cheap drinks, cheap decent food too. Its about a 20 min downhill walk to the beach with amazing views...or a very quick bus ride. Staff were very unfriendly and rooms are horrible. Safety standards were definately not worried about here. we ended up cancelling the rest of our booked nights as it was so bad.no air con, coudlnt provide an extra pillow, lights flashed on thoughout the night, room was the size of a shoebox for 4 people. Go to Ios resort its the best hotel in Ios!!! Staff were very unfriendly and rooms are horrible. We stayed at Markos Village for 5 nights, they didn't change our bed sheets once. Beside that it's very close to bars and shops. Great location- close to town and beach a bus ride away. Bus stop about 1minute walk away. Staff very helpful and lovely. Rooms not bad. Markos Village Hotel was an awesome place to stay. Just across the road from all the action it had a hotel bar and a pool!
