Me and two friends stayed here in April this year during a three week tour of Japan. We found Saporro to be an amazing city. The people are friendly and we had a good time. We couldn't really believe what a bargain this place was after other experiences in Japan. Maybe it's because we stayed when it wasn't the skiing season ? Who knows. Whatever the reason we had 4 nights in one of the best hotels we stayed in in Japan for the price of two nights in other cities in hotels that were worse.

They offer hotel quality stay for hostel-like price. The only thing I disliked was the lack of WIFI on all floors other than ground floor. It is inexpensive to invest on extending the WIFI up to other floors. I hope that the hotel will improve on this. Otherwise, great value for money.

Staff can speak not much of English but they were eager to get our question through.

Everything was great except that the elevators need to be checked. They don't seem to have sensors and act more on timing. My mum is already a senior woman and the elevator didn't sensed her coming in and slammed her. Maybe any 20 year old person could have stood it OK but we chose that hotel because we were also looking for a good place for her to stay. Luckily she just fell down and could overcome the pain but it was unnecessary. We saw others being hit but they were young.

This is an excellent hotel!! Great position, very easy to find. Rooms are quite small but very clean and have all the necessary amenities. The breakfast is good and the staff is helpful. As it is a business hotel, don't expect much character, but if you are just looking for an easy-to-reach place where have a confortable sleep for a good price, this hotel is the perfect choice.

Good location close to restaurants and bars, but off the main street so is quiet at night. Long walk from JR Sapporo. The most comfortable beds I slept in for all of Japan (out of about 12 hotels), feathery soft! Staff exemplary, had a problem with our bathroom which they attended to straight away. Complimentary breakfast here, the only hotel I stayed at which had this. Great hotel, excellent value for money.

The location wasn't top notch, but everything about the hotel itself was tip-top. The bed and facilities were excellent, not to mention a price you can't beat. This is one of the cheapest private rooms you will find in sapporo! My only complaint is that the TV requires you to pay an additional thousand yen a day in order to use it.
