Really nice hostel - perfect if you're looking for somewhere peaceful where you can just chill out and watch a movie. The dorms are literally just hotel rooms with 4 beds in so you've got plenty of space. The en-suite bathroom is very clean and we found that the hot water was reasonably reliable. The kitchen area could be better though, there is a staff only kitchen downstairs which I think hostel guests should be able to use. Overall a good, clean hostel which is good value for money.

Hot water, wifi and breakfast all good. Engish speaking channel on the TV (most of the time).10 minute stroll to main area of restaurants and plaza. BIG supermarket nearby. Organised tours for us to Sillustani and Uros Islands. Had a room at the front which got a lot of sunshine so kept the room warm. Bit noisy but had ear plugs.

Room and bed were big but unfortunately, I was bitten by bed bugs on my second night of stay. There was only one bathroom to be shared by all which can pose some problems sometimes

Staff are very friendly and helpful! Nice hangout area with a decent DVD collection. Breakfast was very basic, but good value for money overall. I would recommend this place.

The hostel had quite a hotel feel to it, and the breakfast was really good. Also, it is quite close to the central locations in the city and the staff were really nice.

A great place for travellers. The staff were very friendly and helpful in suggesting things to do. The room was a bit on the noisy side as it faced the road but the traffic quiets down at night. The location is a bit further from the centre than is desirable, but taxis are cheap so not too much of a problem.

Mediocre. We reserved a double bed, but ended up with two twins. We had to ask for towels. The bathroom had good hot water. When we checked out on our third day, the staff lost our reservation, and wanted to charge extra; luckily I had my reservation printed out. The hostel is located at a noisy intersection, about a 15 minute walk from the Plaza and a 20 minute walk from the port. The free wifi is very slow and doesn't work well. Breakfast is good, comes with a fried egg. Overall, meh.

This hostel is great to meet a variety of backpackers. The facilities they had were nice and clean. I had a very comfortable warm bed and firm pillow. There were stairs that led to the four floors in building. Each floor had a common room with a tv and couches free coca tea. Lockers were available for use in the main lobby. Breakfast was reasonably better than most. Coffee, tea, eggs, and bread were available.

We were only there for one night, but we had a good stay. The beds are big, and even though it was very cold we weren't cold at night. It would be nice if they had an elevator because climbing that many stairs in altitude is hard. The only issue we had was with the hot water. The shower had many tricks and they didn't tell you about them unless you complained about the hot water. It's near downtown but not that close.

This is more like a hotel. Close enough to town center and very comfortable beds. Hot water takes 10 minutes so be prepared to wait. Better to book tours outside. Decent breakfast.

Quiet hostel, nice breakfast and easy to meet other travelers.

An excellent choice in Puno. By the way, I really recommend the Marlon Hostels in Peru. Very good prices for extremely confortable accomodations. I've stayed only two days in Puno with my girlfriend, and we also liked very much the tour they booked for us. The location might not be the best possible in Puno, but with only a 15-minutes walk you'll get to the Plaza de Armas.

Good facilities. Not much atmosphere but very good for a relaxing stay. Dorms are roomy. Staff didn't speak great English but where very helpful. Would recommend.

- not always hot water

An amazing hostel great breakfast clean n nice staff

Very friendly and professional staff. Got a twin room at no extra cost for booking a dorm. Wifi was very good. Got a shuttle bus to Juliaca for 25 Soles from the travel agency there. Small hostel but highly recommended.

Enjoyed our stay, helpful staff - WiFi in our large room. Very noisy but of course we have ear plugs, we had a road side room though. The beds are very small too, we just fit - if you are a big person or two big people perhaps check the bed size before checking in. Breakfast good.

room is clean, location is good since a small city, there is hot water in day time but bath room window is open for ever, so taking a bath in the evening of winter could be a challenge. tour price is expensive. don't book with them. breakfirst is good with egg.

Only stayed one night but it was comfortable, shower was hot and strong and the breakfast was good.

Nice hostel, Nice rooms. The breakfast is actually not the best but there is more variety. Good place to book tours and friendster staff.
