I rellay liked the hotel and I enjoyed my stay there. The breakfast is great and the stuff friendly. I just missed hot water at the shower. It wasn´t cold but Puno was so cold that I would have prefered very warm water.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. As previous reviews have commented the street outside is extremely loud so best to take ear plugs for a good night sleep. Nice sofa and tv area on 4th floor. Good showers and wifi connection.

Marlon's has a great price and came highly recommended. The woman at the front desk helped us to book a tour, and they have their own agency they work through. Other staff was just average, not much interaction. It was easy enough to walk to town, 20 minutes or so by foot. The reason we did not stay another night, was because it is one of the noisiest places to stay. There is nothing the hostal can do about this really. But if you decide to stay here, try not to stay street side.

Nice place. 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown. Located on one of the busiest junctions in the town, rooms to the front will ha e to deal with all the beeping.

This hostel was great. It is more of a hotel than hostel. The double rooms are spacious, the showers are good and the place is very clean. Staff on reception are really friendly & helpful, as was the owner/manager whilst he was there. We booked the Island Hopping tour at the hostel and it was great. Great value for money. Close enough to walk to the main streets for ATMs, restaurants, supermarket etc.

On busy street so traffic noise is evident and starts very early in am otherwise very happy with stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free luggage storage very useful. Great views of lake and city from rooftop and kitchen area. Hot water for shower was plentiful. A few more small cooking pots in kitchenfor individual cooking would be useful. Less than 10 minute walk to central market and main square area with facilities like banks, tourist services. I will stay here again!

Pros: Cheap. Beds are comfortable. Shared rooms aren't crowded as other hostels. Cons: No elevators. They charge towels in shared rooms. Only one key for each room. Private rooms have hot water only in certain periods during the day. Very poor WiFi connection.

Pros: Clean rooms. The female receptionist is very helpful and has a cheery demeanor. Cons: Intermittent internet connection. The little kid has a hard time with English and seems to shy away if you have any questions or concerns. *Due to each room having only one key, there is a lack of security within the dorm rooms. I believe that admin caught wind of this and assigns each person or group to one room. (hint hint)

Lovely staff who replied to my email before arrival to help organise our homestay tour and onward bus journey. Rooms are big, our first room had a musty smell, but the room we stayed in after our homestay was lovely, more like a basic hotel. It's a bit far from the main square, but near a supermarket and good little kitchen to cook in

For the whole time we stayed at Marlons house, there was no wifi or any Internet available on the shared computer. The staff did try I guess to remedy the situation by sending us across the road to the Internet cafe and paying for our Internet usage there. It was frustrating however as we were continually told that the Internet would be working later in the day. The restrictions on hot water were a bit tight,9pm the water shuts off is too early as we usually would not be back from dinner!

Stayed 3nights in my opinion, the best cheap accomm in Puno. Its more like a basic hotel than a hostel. The staff are very friendly, and the excursions and bus ticket prices are comparable to anywhere else in town, so worth booking. Laundry service was excellent, and the breakfast is good if not basic! The rooms have full panoramic glass overlooking puno and titicaca in the distance which is cool. Wifi can be a temperamental on the high floors in rooms! Beware Puno wakes up at 3am everywhere!
