Very quite, not much atmosphere, clean and good sized rooms, location is ok, a bit of a walk from the main strip and shops. They say they have 'american and continental' breakfasts - but the entire time we stayed there was cereal (puffed rice and another type), bread, drinking yoghurt and tea/coffee. The hot water system in the double room with ensuite (great view of the Lake) we had is solar - so you only get hot water during the day. At night time we used the general shower which was electric.

Breakfast could be better. Only one person to make everything at all. The bread was hard and the tea water was cold. Staff very good to solve problems like bus tickets and taxis. Laundry is very good, but a little expensive. The price is fair to the quality of the hostel.

Great value for money. The hostel was lacking bathrooms and it only had 1 computer on the negative side. The staff were really nice though and it was in a good location.

More of a hotel than hostel, but its nice. About 15 mins walk to the centre of Puno. Situated on a very noisy street. Annoying car horns will wake you up at 5:00am if you have a room facing the road.

Nice hostel. I booked in a dorm but they put me in a room with twin beds that I had to share with another guy. Though it wasn t a problem for me, I could see how it could annoy some people. But the room was ensuite and very clean and spacious so I was glad. When I tried to take a shower at 6AM, there was no hot water though. The continental breakfast was good and everybody had the reception was always really nice. All in all, I do recommend the place as it was really good value for money.

Marlon's is great hostel with amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable bed and a nice hot shower. They also can pick you up from the bus station at any time and help me to arrange my tour to the lake for 02 amazing days.

The hostel was fine but unfortunately it is on one of the busiest junctions in Puno. From 06.00 to 23.00 is a non-stop cacaphony of motor vehicle engines and hooters. If you can sleep through noise, the hostel is good value.

The staff was excellent and very helpful. The hostel is clean and a great value (I stayed in the dorm rooms). The only complaint was a lack of hot water on the fourth floor. Overall, a great experience. Thanks to the two receptionists for making it a great stay!

Although people may say it is out of the main centre, it is not. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the main strip is a short 5 minute walk. Very clean, more like a hotel than a hostel. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Hot water may only work in the early morning so make sure you get in first.
