We were not satisfied with the cleanliness of this hostel when we arrived and ended up finding a new place to stay. The rooms smelled musty and the shared bathrooms were small, unlean, and run down.

Lili totally made our stay. She's one of the most knowledgeable and helpful members of staff I've ever encountered in a hostel. The hostel was pleasant, cosy and full of info, and 5 blocks from the beautiful plaza de armas. Hostel highly recommended!

Staff can be helpful when pushed but this places lacks the personal touch. I emailed 3 times over 2 days to request the included pick-up service, but had no response so had to take a taxi off the street. There was also no free coffee & map offered, as promised. There are no lockers available and the bathrooms are no bigger than a broom cupboard. The only positives are that the dorm rooms are spacious with beds rather than bunks, and it's cheap. Pay a bit more elsewhere for better value IMO.
