I cannot speak highly enough of the Marmara Guesthouse. The location is excellent being vry close to many of the Cultural sites and easy walking to many others. The Marmara offer airport pick ups which was efficient and worth every penny, saving us time on our 4 day visit. Our room which we paid a bit extra had a view of the sea. They were very helpful in arranging (and changeing) tours and transportation. The roof top terrace for breakfast and harbor views is worth the stairs! we actually stayed at the Saruhan hotel the newer hotel run by Elif and her \"sisters\" . Nothing was too much trouble for them . They have some trouble with the room that I boked, so i get a better one for the same price(!) at the asunahan hotel.It was a very nice and clean room.
