I cannot speak highly enough of the Marmara Guesthouse. The location is excellent being vry close to many of the Cultural sites and easy walking to many others. The Marmara offer airport pick ups which was efficient and worth every penny, saving us time on our 4 day visit. Our room which we paid a bit extra had a view of the sea. The roof terraces where breakfast can be eaten were lovely. The free internet is a great asset.

They were very helpful in arranging (and changeing) tours and transportation. The roof top terrace for breakfast and harbor views is worth the stairs! A find place to recommend.

i loved istanbul and the roof top was amazing! no one at the hostel spoke english except the daughter who confidently booked my airport shuttle but put me on the wrong one which cost me more and 50euro to get to the rite airport in a rush drive that nearly cost me missing my flight. the hostel was super quiet not recomended for anyone under 40. and ask for upper level as door closes with a loud bang.

we actually stayed at the Saruhan hotel the newer hotel run by Elif and her \"sisters\" . Nothing was too much trouble for them . I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

no more fun please!!!!! it is a place where the people who run it give you the feeling to be at ease. when I told elif i didnot like the sounds coming from the neighbouring terrace she took that seriously.

I had a single room with a shared bathroom. The room was tiny, but the family that runs the place is wonderful. I felt right at home.
