You can find a better hostel for a third of the price. This should be a last resort.

There was no lock on the bathroom for a mixed dorm room, the floor was dirty, the public bathrooms on our floor got filled with mattresses and bedding so we had to use the one with no lock.

Nice hostel at a good location, staff is helpful, kitchen area has useful facilities (coffee machines, wifi, etc..) but the ensuite bathroom would've needed a proper cleaning.

going in we were a bit scared, looking at the past reviews. but arriving at the hostel we were pleasantly surprised. the rooms were clean and warm , and those were the two most important things. the hostel was less than 5 minute walk to a little christmas market, and was on a good location, so all of us could go into town and with out a problem find our way back. the rooms then selfs were clean and nice. no complains came from our group of 25 about the rooms. we enjoyed our stay there!

We booked a double room but the room had 4 beds in total so the additional bunk bed, took up a lot of space.

Incredibly rude staff who were aggressive and hostile when faced with a reasonable request. Completely got our booking wrong yet still tried to charge us the same price. When was asked to give their name (to complain to the manager) the member of staff refused and and became physically aggressive.

I had about 200 USD worth of stuff (including my license, credit cards, and 40 Euro) stolen from me from the room in the middle of the night. Apparently someone in the hostel booked two rooms under their name, and so they had the key to our room as well as their own. When I first got to the Hostel, the guy at the desk tried to tell me that we owed 20 euro more than we did. After arguing with him for about 10 minutes, he realized he did the math wrong. I'm beginning to think they were in on it.

I attended some concert at Melkweg, and this hostel is very close to it. Several minutes by foot! At that time(1st of November) the price was around 13 euros per night for the 10 bed mixed dorm. I was very satisfied. Showers and toilets looked very new and they were very clean. I guess that they did some restoration. The only thing is that there are no lockers.

Honestly, it was unpleasant: when we returned to our room late at night, we were greeted by a few mice.. they were in our room, we found a nest under one of our beds. after complaining we were downgraded to a tiny room, with too few beds. the customer service was also not good, the men at the desk were arrogant and unhelpful. (we do not mind 'roughing it', but sharing a room with a family of mice is not cool, and friendly service would have made a world of difference!)

The location was good, and the basics were met (clean bed, clean facilities, etc). Close to several bars, restaraunts, and coffeeshops, it was good for a weekend trip.

Booked a room at the Hotel yet they managed to overbook somehow and try and put me in some over Hostel but I had to persuade them to sleep on the floor of my friends room which they didn't seem keen on. In the end it was okay but had the impression that they were not that organised. Couple members of staff were decidedly rude.

It is the worst hotel I have been in. the staff is really not nice. they don't give you paying option and you need to pay all nights at the chack-in time with cash, if you want a credit deal they tell you it's gonna cost you 5%. the hotel is not cleaned, there is no elevator, rooms are small, claustrophobic.

The rooms re small and basic what you pay for but clean. The staff were friendly enough and although it is close to pubs, shops and food places it is a good 20 minutes to the red light district and dam's square however we found walking around better than catching the tram as there is so much to see. The bulldog in the leidsplien square had a great atmosphere sund and monday night as it is karaoke. The hostel could so with some nice paint and carpets to brighten the place up but otherwise great
