The hostel was excellent!!! I highly recommend it!!! The only problem was at breakfast time, cause the guy who used to bring it usually took a lot of time to do it. I think he was alone in the kitchen or something at the kind.

The room was nice and clean and the beds were very good. The terrass was not so clean but the people for breakfast and at the reception were very nice. There was a problem with the noice of the Jema El Fna but we don't worry about it because we use eardops. There was no problem to leave the luggage when we left the hotel for 2 days, but afterwards we see dat the luggage room was not closed.... so we think that safety was not so good.

This place is amazing, the employees are so great! I accidentally made a wrong booking, but the guy at the desk was so good to me and my friends. We also had a friend who was going to meet us later in the trip, but she came a day later. They were very understanding and let us stay in a 4 bed room even though she wasn't going to show up until later. The breakfast was simple, but it nice to have it on the rooftop. The location is great and the room was very clean too. Bring shower shoes though!!

This place is located a little ways away from the train station, but if you just follow the winding road, past the only bar in town, and you will find it. It is a great place to meet new people, and the bar they have is awesome too! The only bad part is how you have to pay for hot water. Also I had sheets provided, but I stayed in the dorms. This place is very awesome and the surrounding areas are amazing.

Nice "Hotel" in the middle of the old city directly at Djemaa el Fna.

Very nice. Perfect for people who want to simply be amongst the fun of Marrakech. Rooms have aircom and are basic but nice. Staff are lovely and you can check in any time. Ideal for large groups and travellers who need to put their luggage somewhere while they explore and sleep occasionally

we stayed in hotel cecil1 2years ago on our first trip to marakesh and they were building the rooms then that make up Hotel Cecil 2 which is the bottom floor of the hotel. these rooms are Very good value for money and the breakfast is great on the terrace. it is quite noisy there till mid night....noise from the lobby/outdoor passage etc...but then we were being boring and went to bed early as we had a morning flight the next day. in terms of location and cost this is a great place to stay

Thanks for your review, much appreciated. I would just like to correct your information about Hotel Cecil 2. Hotel Cecil 2 is a seperate hotel, which is joined to Hotel Cecil. Hotel Cecil 2 consists of 4 floors, not just ground floor rooms. Thanks!

It is very loud. Sound passes from the square and other rooms and you can hear everything! But other than that, it was a good stay.

Warm water, great location!

Very basic. The room had a bed but that was also it. No ventral heating so it gets a bit cold at night. It has everything you need though and the roof terrace is amazing. Staff doesn't really speak English so comunication us har unless you speak French. Perfect location, pretty much directly on the square.

The staff was incredible... very friendly and helpful. No heat in the room and it was cold in January. Second stay we were given a room with HEAT, a huge improvement. Sunny standard breakfast on the rooftop. Only 150 ft from the Jamaa el Jna plaza; yet very quiet at night. Great place to stay in Marrakech.

Hotel is located right in the center and the terrace is a beautiful place to watch the action. The staff is helpful. The rooms were nice for the price of the hostel. We stayed 4 nights and had a lovely time.
