I was surprised to be disappointed in this place after reading the great reviews. We arrived to check in and waited AND WAITED AND WAITED for the owner to finish eating lunch/discipline her son. Taken to our room- no hot water and power that was being cut by the owner sporadically. We asked for a city map and were told to wait 15 mins. we're still waiting. We were charged for an extra blanket. Don't eat there as there are ferrets everywhere in the kitchen. Maybe the owner wrote her own reviews

Very helpful and friendly family. Clean rooms, including the bathrooms. Not a bad location - not right on a ghat, but close by, and the location is not too noisy. Had to pay extra for toilet paper, but mosquito coils supplied free of charge. Home-cooked breakfast at the guesthouse was delicious but could take up to 90 minutes to arrive, so if in a hurry to get going in the morning you are better to eat elsewhere (or maybe could try ordering the night before?)
