The location very near to all types of market. The girls at counter are very cooperative and gives you the information about the places where you can visit in Kota Kinabalu and near byfor e.g. Ranu Hot water spring, lubwan island ,KK National park and islands by boat. One Computer at ground floor near toilets must be kept to have internet access at ground floor and not to go first floor and disturb others.

The hostel is right next to the bus station, so it's easy to get there from the airport, and it's easy to go to mount Kinabalu. So location is good, the breakfast is average (the coffee is VERY good)

We found Masada hostel not as great as we expected it to be. Very basic, but showers were clean and hot. Toilets had cockroaches but aside from that good location for buses out of Kota Kinabulu and to the airport.

I like the environment in the hostel,is like a family very friendly and very warm in the hostel. You can meet a lot of people around the world sit together and share ur story,is the very nice at that moment when we all get together. The location is a big far from Gaya Street which that is the center of the Kota Kinabalu town , but as a backpacker i think that is not a big problem for you to walk to there. :)

Very nice place with nice staff members. It seems like everything is brand new or just really well maintained and cleaned. I would stay here again

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot). Lovely accommodating staff, nice rooms with a/c, wireless internet, a large personal locker, a nice shelf with plug socket by each bed, power showers (with hot water - and shower gel and shampoo included), towels available, comfy sofas to sit on. Two computers with printing if needed. And my favourite bit - hot drinks and/or cold water whenever you want! I loved this place. It's also close to the bus stops/station

The best hostel for a short stay in Kota Kinabalu so far.All the facilities here are always kept clean and tidy (beds, showers, toilets etc). Each bed has a couple of charging sockets so there is no need to fight with others to charge your gadgets.Staff are friendly and helpful.Breakfast is great despite the usual toast, jam and butter.Eateries, convenience stores and fast food (like KFC) are all nearby.I'd seriously recommend!

This hostel has been a delight. I have stayed a total of 4 nights and in 3 different rooms. The place itself is basic but has more everything you need. Super clean and lots of space to socialise with other guests. The real benefit of this hostel is the staff, they have done everything possible to make my stays enjoyable, stress free and not said no to a single request. Including taking my washing to the laundry when I was away on a trip!

one of the great new hostel, i stayed 3 nights and came back for another 2 nights, fantastic place of my trip to KK. mostly are great, for that price you can have that service, you know bedding every day!? this is a service beyond a backpacker hostel! of course if you wanted to be picky, there are still things to tell or to improve. however for me it was good enough. As for location, you can walk through the town in 20 minutes, but its not in the center of the town.

I had a fantastic stay at Masada. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Location is perfect with Airport Bus stop very near , KFC and 7 Eleven in vicinity. They truly understand the need of the guest, One suggestion is that shower are really slow , if they can work on this issue , it would be nice. I recommended Masada Backpackers highly.
