Location is very good. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the Gaya street and the Jessie point. Very convenient. Staffs there are very nice. Free breakfast provided also! First choice if I go back to KK again.

This place is very clean. Which make me very comfortable staying here for 2 nights. The staffs is nice and helpful. In term of location wise, this place very near to Padang Merdeka, where it's the place you can take a taxi or airport bus. Also it only 10minutes walk to Filipino Market. Very convenience.

Changed my second night of stay for three times, because of climbing Mt. Kinabalu and it was no problem! Extreme friendly staff! All day breakfast, good location near bus terminal. Definitely recommend!

I had a pleasant stay here. Staff made me feel very welcome & are very helpful. The atmosphere is cosy & i felt like i was home. Room very clean, lockers very spacious. Location fairly close to everything. There's even a KFC & a convenience store just a few blocks. I would recommend this hostel.

Great hostel to meet other solo travelers! The staff was great! Big and clean beds. The locations is in a shady location, but there is lots of security

A nice, clean hostel. It was only a 3-minute walk from the airport shuttle drop-off point and a 10 or 15-minute walk to the waterfront. The staff didn't seem especially knowledgeable about tours or things to do in Borneo, but they were nice and gave me a few good recommendations for later hostels. All day breakfasts, coffee, milo, and cookies were much appreciated. A good jumping off point if you have to spend the night in KK.

Nice hostel. There was a bar nearby (maybe underneath) that had music pumping until the wee hours. Definitely sounded like it was worth checking out if we hadn't of been climbing the next day!

Good breakfast with toast, cereal, muffins and really good cookies. You can eat during the day too. There is always someone at the desk. They change the sheets every day. Super clean and close to everything in KK. Came back the week after! Great hostel!

No complaints here. KK itself is a little bland but I liked this hostel quite a bit. At first you think its tiny, but that actually makes it kind of cozy. Very easy to meet people here and they are always stocked with coffee/tea/toast. Prices are really reasonable too.

The staffs there nice and easy reachable even during midnight time as they have staffs work for 24 hours. The place was neat and clean, bed and room was tidy everyday. The location was good, easy to search and it is near to bus stop. The only unforeseen thing is that one of my member's luggage was open by his dorm member, luckily nothing missing. Apart from that, I still enjoy the stay at Masada Backpacker

+ masada backpacker has very good location. it's convenient to go to everywhere. the airport bus stop is just 5 minutes' walk, and it only will take you 15 minutes to go to the airport. + it has very strong wifi. + the staff is very friendly. i am so sorry to mistake the check out time, and they tried to contact me but failed, then they packed my things. and i didn't lose anything. + it serves breakfast, simple but delicious. + room and toilet are clean - a little noisy

It is a very clean and pleasant accommodation, with free coffee and milo all day long. Though it was located in a small lane, sometimes it would be a little bit dangerous while walking back from downtown. If don't get outside too late it would be ok. Very quiet, and the staff are all so nice. It's a very pleasant place.

I only stayed for a short time but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. The staff were very kind in that they arranged a gluten free breakfast for me before I headed off to climb Mt Kinabalu. Thank you :)
