Thanks to the very friendly young staff. I stayed at Masada 3 times, no complaints!

Although there's water pump working very hard to maintain the water pressure, the water pressure problem needs to be fixed.

Very nice hostel, clean, super friendly staff, basic rooms but all with AC, lockers and pretty good beds. 10 min walk to the sea with night market. We stayed 1 night in the dorm and 3 in the twin bed rooms.

Great location- less than a minute's walk to the airport shuttle and buses to the National Park and Inanam long distance terminal for onward travels. Nice clean facilities (someone always cleaning!), comfortable dorms, good showers. Staff friendly and helpful with questions about getting round KK; tourism board close by for any other queries. Wifi sometimes temperamental but same can be said for many places- computers in communal areas good for browsing. Highly recommended. Thanks Masada.

Place is peaceful and kept clean all day. Breakfast until noon is pretty good after a long flight!

Amazing stay! Couldn't have asked for better. Highly recommended to anyone and everyone! If you like your privacy stay in the private room, if you want to meet more people stay in a shared spot. Everyone was lovely and accommodating.

Really nice rooms and the staff is great, a bit far from the night market and the main areas of the city but it's quite small so no real problem there.

Really friendly hostel in a good location for KK. Good facilities and breakfast until 1pm, for those on a budget this is good news. Free hot drinks and water all the time. Pit stopped here a couple of times and was happy every time

Masada is a very comfortable hostel, with very friendly and helpful staff. There is not much of an atmosphere here but that is neither the fault of the staff or hostel I would still happily recommend Masada as a good hostel to stay

First of all, Madasa is very close to the last airport bus stop, which makes it very easy to get to. The staff are very helpful. And it's surprisingly CLEAN! Many details in the hostel show the consideration of the owner, such as a small basket hung close to the power sockets, where you can put your phone if the cord is too short. The AC in my dorm room is very quiet. I had a good sleep after a 3-day insomnia. The only thing is the sign at the front door. It's too dark to recognize at night.

stayed in the 4 bed female dorm for 4 nights and feels like at home. very clean, staff are helpful, the arrangement of 24 hrs reception helps a lot as i need to checkout at 5 am for the flight. And you can have breakfast anytime!!! The only down sides are that there's no mirror in the room, the bunk bed shakes a lot whenever you move, and the number of bathrooms and toilets seems not enough if the hostel is full (2 female toilet, 1 male toilet and 4 bathroom for a floor)

I really loved the new renovated look. Will return again for sure. Only minus were the thin walls of the new rooms.

Wifi didn't work sometimes, but I think that's Malaysia for you. Beds are comfortable, but the top bunks are a little creaky/wobbly. Other than that a very nice place. Clean, great staff, not too busy and located walking distance to everything.

A good deal for the money in KK, about a 15-20 minute walk to Jesse Point and walking distance to lots of restaurants and night markets. The neighborhood around the hostel itself doesn't have too much. The bed was really comfortable (we had the double bed room, it was a nice big bed) but the room itself had no windows. In fact, I think none of the rooms have windows, this was kind of a disappointment for us. Clean place and helpful staff: gave us umbrella and adapter to use!

We found the hostel very clean, well air conditioned and spacious. The staff was very helpful! One of us got sick and had to visit hospital daily - the staff checked on her and helped us in many ways! The city center is walking distance away (~10-15min). Breakfast consists of toast, jam, banana and coffee.
