Good、 Cheery、 happy 、

Owner Peter is very hands on. I was pleasantly surprised that he put in towels in the toilets to dry wet hands. This is the only hostel who has implemented my suggestion quickly. Good job and keep up the good work!

We came back to Masada a few times throughout the duration of our trip. The staff there were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was only a very short walk to the city centre from the hostel.

Special thanks to the Peter and wife who are friendly and helpful. They have even sent me to the airport on their way back home. The room and beds are clean. I've actually extended my stay for another 4 nights. Generally near to all destinations within town, getting around is easy by walking, especially convenient if you plan to take a bus to inland towns.

The owner took his time to talk with the backpackers. The room is clean. There is non-stop flow of breakfast even at night! The hostel is very near the Nigh Market. The snacks are being sold at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and not nosy. In short, almost perfect!

Not the flashiest hostel I've stayed in, but it has everything and is clean. A bit of a walk to everything, but no drama. The staff are really helpful and friendly. There weren't many people here when I was staying so not much atmosphere, it was good to rest up though. I stayed here again when I came back from Sandakan.

Super clean and ammazziing value for money, we used it as a base camp while traveling around Borneo and it was perfect. The staff is very helpful, it's the perfect place to rest before/after climbing Mount Kota Kinabalu!

The place is quite clean and the location great (minbus for mount kinabalu just around the corner; restaurants, atms and convenience stores within short walking distance); but at least the double rooms are too small, have no windows and are overpriced. Furthermore, the common area is rather small and the included breakfast consists of toast and jam (good thing is, that you can eat it all day long, without time limit)

Cleanest hostel I've ever been to, and also just a short walk to the night and Sunday markets. Would definitely stay here again!

This hostel was almost empty when I was there but one of the staff members took me out on my first night to show me the night markets, Philippino markets and Gaya street so that was really nice of them. The hostel has very comfortable rooms compared to others in KK but is located in an area that isn't as interesting as the hostels in Gaya street.
