Bathroom is horrible: old, not clean... I stay only one night and it was enough !! But location is good! Breakfast is average, and not copious!

We stayed at Mastapa for a week while we grooved in Kuta. It was ideally located, a short walk from the beach, and the staff were always present and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. The garden is lovely, although the walls of our room are in need of a coat of paint, and the toilet, while working great, needs to have the seat replaced. The rooms were cleaned daily, and there was always hot drinking water available. I would stay there again, as a budget traveller.

A rather expensive but reasonable place to stay in Kuta. The swimming pool is great, as the whole backyard garden. The best feature is a very close night market just behind the corner, a great place to buy very cheap food and superb fruit juices that make the market a popular hang-out place for local surfers and tourists. The hostel breakfast is a good value although with only water/coffee/tea for a drink.
