Bathroom, toilet and breakfast facilities are awesome. I find the sleeping compartment very narrow. Its very low and the mattress very thin that i could feel the wood beneath. There is insufficient flow of cool air from the air-conditioner. The pathway in the dormitory is crowded with luggage making it difficult to move around.

Its wonderful,i had a great time there with my friend, the concept they applied to this hostel is so unique. Overall, its worth to stay this kind of hostel instead of expensive hotels. Keep your good work matchbox!!! Forgot to mention 1 thing, the wifi really highspeed!!! It got me to hit 900kbbs/s with my iphone, wow, wat an awesome speed!!!

The hostel is conveniently situated in Chinatown, it is close to many attractions and you can get around easily by using the MRT. The staff was exceptionally nice and the facilities were really clean. The beds are comfy enough if you are medium sized and the only thing that is missing are some curtains for your pod. Other than that the 10-bed female dorm is perfect for a good nights sleep.

stay at match box , I just feel very comfortable and relax after my long trip. Even I stayed at dorm room but the room is quiet so I can sleep very well but a bit noisy during week end since the neighbourhood is pub. But its ok for me. Location was great, near tanjung pagar MRT and China town MRT. The room , toilet, living room are clean. Like Like Like.........

Overall a great hostel, a bit more expensive than the other hostels, but worth the additional expense. My only gripe is the cleanliness of the room. I stay in the 16-bed room for 4 nights. There are litters in a lot of places and the room doesn't seem to be cleaned every day. I asked for a cleanup twice, but nothing happened. On the 4th day the staff apologized and promised to clean it. Other than that, I like everything else and would recommend this hostel if they fix the cleanliness part.

I really loved this hostel. As soon as I checked in I wanted to stay for longer. Every hostel should have capsule beds like this - it really provides a secure and cosy feel and offers privacy and comfort that other hostel dorms don't have. The location was pretty & so close to the outstanding chicken rice of Maxwell food court and opposite a bar that does the best cocktails I've ever had. Some people on a budget may find this expensive and a little quiet but I thought it was perfect. Thanks!!!!

Very nice hostel in all aspects except one important detail. The laudry was on the same floor of the dormitory and it was sooo noisy and annoying, starting from morning for all day (fortunately not in the evening/night). This is bad if you want to party till late and then sleep in the morning. They should buy laudry machine less noisy or locate them differently.

The space in kitchen is too small so that cannot hold more people to have meals simultanously , it could be better if sets of tables and chairs can be added , also the dryer makes it too noisy when having meals inside.

Great hostel with very helpful staff. Clean and good air-conditioned. Very quiet and in a great neighborhood. Food street just around the corner and some more expensive European restaurants across the street. I stayed here for 4 days, together with my daughter of 10 in the dorm. We had a really good and comfortable stay.

This hostel is warm and cozy like you stay in your house. Full of facilities you need esp. all day serving food. Will definitly come back and recommended.

Brilliant hostel with friendly staff and a great loft space. Very quiet atmosphere though which could be improved upon. Located near two really good hawker centres serving decent food.

Hostel is located in between the financial district and Chinatown. Within walking distance two MRT stations can be reached. Maxwell Food Market and in the evening Chinatown Food Street are only 2 minutes away. There are several bars in the direct neighborhood. Clarke Quay is a 15 min walk. Due to the different concept of the hostel a bit more privacy is offered in the dorms. The loft is great just to hang around. The staff/owner are super friendly and helpful.
