This hotel is located very close to the train station, so it is easily reached on foot. The Matsumoto Castle and the center of town are also a short walk away. The room was clean and it had free Internet (there was a LAN cable). Matsumoto is a lovely town to stay in for a night and take day trips from to the Japanese Alps. Try the Asama Onsen nearby.
