Can't belived why other people has been talking several bad things about the hostel: first: Zermatt isn't too big you can walk 10 minuts from the train station and get the hostel, mt matterhorn is behind the hostel and the vew is pretty good, the staff is pretty amaiable and the rooms are very nice, basics but you need be mindful that is the cheapest option in Zermatt and definitely it is safe. If you are scared booked the hotels with the same build and with the same view and pay 100times more

The Staff was very unhelpful, the hostel itself had the quality of a jail. You couldn't fit any bags in your room and definitely not in the lockers either, while they were too small. Also, we had our lockers and our room on different floors which made it very inconvenient all the time. Showers were very groose and overall it was a nightmare. I've been staying in other hostels around in Europe and I have never seen anything like this. Claustrofobic all the time. Would never stay here again.

Great location. Only a 4-5 min walk to the ski lift. Can get a bit noisy. Woken up a few times by drunk people. One of which was so drunk he got up and urinated on his own bed. Would stay againg though as it's cheap for Zermatt.

A bit difficult to find the hostel at first and it's a bit far away from the train station. The room is not secured as it doesn't have a lock on the door so remember to bring your own lock or get a key for the locker at the reception. Staff is extremely helpful and I would stay here again if I go to Zermatt.

Hostel smelt very bad. Common room was one of the worst I have experienced- smelt terrible, limited appliances and cutlery ect- leaving little options to make own food.

Not a very good hostel. Only good thing is its Zermatt.

After reading past reviews, I already knew what to expect. Extremely congested rooms & only 2 showers at the basement (for all guests in 3 floors) is the main feature ! For an expensive place of Zermatt, this is for sure the cheapest place by far. The attached restaurant serves good food at reasonable price (again, at Zermatt price levels). In all, more competition is required to have better quality hostels at this place.

Cold showers, cold rooms. 1 blanket which is itchy. Lockers are crappy. Small beds. Average wifi. It's worth spending a little more
