I really enjoyed staying in Maverick hostel and thank for staff's kindness ^^

The staff were very accommodating and hospitable, and even though I was only there for a night, they were very kind. The only real problem with this hostel is that it's incredibly hot. They aren't allowed to install AC's which is understandable once you see how beautiful this building is, but that means they only have fans running. The screens in many places are broken too so mosquitoes were attacking me.

Very good setup and location! Downfall was no air conditioning, even with the fan on and windows open the room was still unbearably hot! The apartments were very well equipped and if it the apartment had of had air con it would've been one of the best places we've stayed so far!!

Amazing hostel! Lovely staff! Very clean, big rooms. Perfect!!!!

The hostel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We were warmly welcomed. We extended our stay for one more night because we enjoyed it.

Had trouble sleeping because it was 42c out and the four fans we had in a room of 10 was not enough to properly circulate the air in the room despite the windows being open. Also, could feel the springs in the mattresses all night. Good sized lockers, decently clean and very friendly staff.

Really good Hostel. One of the best that I have been to in Europe. Very well placed (close to Váci utca and in front of a bus stop).

Loved this hostel! The room was lovely because it was spacious and had multiple fans and it was nice not having bunkbeds. The kitchen and bathroom was good, and it was a nice friendly environment.

This is a sister hostel to Maverick City Lodge which is nearby. Do your best to stay at that hostel. Otherwise consider somewhere else. Most uncomfortable sleep I've had anywhere in Europe.

There was there of us who stayed in a 3 double bed room. Huge space. Very modern. Great small kitchen area. Very clean. All 3 thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would defiantly go back!!

Great location and good staff. The common room was a little lacking in things to keep people together. There are other hostels in the world with a better sense of community and there are older people who are also staying here. But it is possible to meet the younger people at the hostels mixers.

This place is situated super close to the station. It's in a beautiful building. We booked a 10 bed mixed dorm and then got upgraded for free into our own apartment. But even soo the place clean and secure

Didn't end up staying in the hostel since there was a mix up with the booking, instead they kindly offered an apartment, which we took. So for originally paying for a double bed room and ending up with a full apartment with 2 double beds and 2 singles...we certainly paid well. Shame we only needed it for one night! The only concern we had was the boiler...it was headed with gas and flame...the flame was visible through an open hole. We simple showered away from it. Didnt accept card/visa

Good hostel, staff and very well organised. Only problem is the showers needed fixing.

Dear Guest, thank you for your comment, we have fixed the showers since. Hope to see you again.

very nice place to stay in. but it is little hard to locate. wifi works perfectly.

No Mirror in 'Private Double' Ms Lemon- shared bathroom always busy, mirror in bedrooms would really help. No hooks or hanging rail- so the 4 coat hangers served no purpose. Reception staff too passive.... Gave up waiting for one to finish on phone. No staff presence on 2 nod floor.... Intolerable noise from fellow guests. Vomit from shared bathroom bidet was not cleared quickly

Really hype, the room layouts were awesome and they have the biggest book selection I've seen in a lot of hostels. Staff was really helpful and it's pretty much in the centre of the city centre. I have no complaints whatsoever.

This place was really great. Right next to the metro and with a really comfortable double room and ensuite bathroom, great value for money too! The kitchen was really clean and tidy and we even had free tea and coffee! The staff were helpful and we really felt at home in this place. There's lots of activities and a nice group atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

It's great!

Very centrally located. Nice room with a fridge, 2 burner elements, pots and pans and dishes. Bed was in upper loft. Room faced courtyard so quite quiet. Windows opened to let in the breeze. LG flat screen (only downside was no English channels, but were out most of day anyways). Located in historical building. Has elevator which was nice as we stayed on 3rd floor. Great location and great value, and room that met all our needs so would definitely stay there again if in Budapest. Good shower.
