MaxHostel has provided one of the best hostel experiences I've had in a long time. Excellent staff, good location and facilities and not too expensive.

It's quite expensive when compare to other hostels in Germany, and I have to pay an extra 2eur for linen! But it is quite clean and the bed are comfortable!

The hostel was super clean and is just ca 7 minutes to the center of Bonn.

I shared a 6 bed dorm with an old man who really, really needed to air out his feet and shoes and probably his entire person somewhere else! & perhaps take a few showers too. A stench so bad I was unable to sleep. Loud snoring, thought there was going to be a suicide inquest the next morning. Finally, at 6:30 the guy wakes up and listens to Schlager on his radio! Meanwhile I'm trying to sleep in preparation to pick up 8 kids for a camp from Bonn Hbf. Not much fun, 25€ for a sleepless night. :(

It was very nice and clean, but there weren't that many people. I guess it's ideal if you just want to crash there without getting to know any other people.

Location is great once you find the shortcut and don\'t have to walk around an entire city block.

Clean place, not much character or atmosphere. Kitchen and bathrooms in clean state, internet is expensive - not free like it says here, and there is a charge for linen also unmentioned in the description on this website.

The hostel is in a very good area, near Oxfordstr. and several minutes from the center of the city. Breakfast was poor, but the rest was fine.

Perfect location, great cooking facilities. The kitchen is cleaned thoroughly every day, including weekends and the staff are helpful. The only negativies were €1/hour wifi which was also very slow and the showers which were not very hot.

A little bit hard to find, but a nice clean place.
